If you're looking for a casual patio with a prime near Kits beach location this is it. It used to be a favorite among colleagues and went after a long time yesterday. I tried the spicy guava margarita and didn't like it as it tasted like concentrated juice mixed with tequila, it was on the happy hour menu as it was premade and tasted like it. Local Public Eatery @ Kitsilano right across from the world famous Kitsilano Beach, is hugely popular amongst locals & then out of towners - in that order. You could tell by the crowd on this past Saturday. The host & wait staff were outstanding - great customer service & interaction. Our group sat on the patio on this beautiful afternoon. Had a great meal here over Easter weekend. The patio was lovely and the service was excellent. Kealeigh was super attentive and friendly. I'll be returning!

Staff very friendly. Was told by host it was happy hour but server advised they don't have happy hour during tge day on sat. Ordered nachos- horrible. Liquid crap cheese smothered all over chips making it soggy. $23 for a small plate of soggy chips.

Amazing vibe, location, well almost everything. Too bad the LOCAL doesn't have any local/BC wines by the glass. They got a few California wines by the glass though; four by the bottle versus two from BC. LOCAL huh
