Ordered delivery via DoorDash and the order took a long time. Called restaurant and found out DoorDash didn't have drivers in the area. Derek went above and beyond and sent my order to me in an Uber.

LOCAL in Kits is a MUST GO TO! The location is amazing! Right across from Kits Beach! Derek, Jo, and Hannah are AMAZING! Definitely one of the best places I've been to in a long time. The food is incredible! Definitely making this one of my Top 5 to take any out of town guests to. I'm so glad I checked this place out!

Was really impressed with our meal here. We both had the "that crispy chicken sandwich" which were well seasoned, with a good balance of bread, sauce and slaw to make it genuinely mouthwatering. Top that off with some well made moscow mules and a patio right off of kits beach and you have what makes for an awesome afternoon. Our server was a sweetheart and we had a great experience. Thank you to local for raising the bar for traditional watering holes.

We had an amazing time!! Came here for a girls night, Ho Yi was our server and she was the best!! Made our night so much fun. So personable, knowledgeable and fun. Amazing drinks, great food and amazing food. We've had so much fun, thank you Local and Ho Yi!!!!

Large outdoor patio is spacious and busy. Good din and atmosphere. All staff are wearing transparent masks. Enjoyed Buffalo and Salt and Pepper on Wings Wednesday. Staff is friendly, especially Lindsay, and management cares for their patrons. 5 stars for staff.

Emily is the best server I have ever had! She is so professional, friendly, and hospitable! I have never had better service or have been better taken care of!!! Absolute STAR! I will come back just for her every single weekend! She knows the drill !!!!! If you get Emily as your server you're in for an absolute TREAT!

Stopped in late night. Service was okay at best but the food was good. Truffle oil for the Yam fries was simple but super good!

First time in Vancouver, we just happened upon this restaurant, saw people eating on the patio so thought hey lets stop here. Glad we did. Perfect location. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was perfect (because we sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather). Had no idea this was a 'local' favorite in BC. Highly recommend.

Great day. Still patio season in Kits. Brooklyn burger was fantastic with the red pepper relish. Paired well with a lighter beer. Our server was very serious. Hospitable, but did not come around after food was delivered. I assume she knew it was good and didn't need to ask.
