Good But Greasy Meats. Read about the new Lockhart location in Plano so we headed there for lunch today. It was really cold outside so we were thinking no big crowds at lunch time and we were correct. Don’t count on getting a parking space out front of the restaurant as they are almost always taken. Wanting a little bit of everything, we ordered brisket, ribs and sausage. The brisket was amazing: intensely smoky, perfectly seasoned and fairly lean. A squirt of the house barbecue sauce goes great with it. ...

Great service, better food!. The bomb dot com! come to Jesus brisket! pecan lodge move over, there's a better, cheaper option in town now! over all great experience.

Meat mission: Amongst the best. I am off training and on a business trip down in Texas for 2 weeks. So I decided to go on a meat mission: try out as many BBQ joints as possible (What else should I be eating in Texas? I wasn't going to go on a American Chinese Take-Out mission).

I really have to laugh .... At all the Lexus and Benz parked in the hot Texas sun whilst their owners are waiting in a long, slow moving line to pay ultra-premium prices for a skillfully prepared cheap cut of beef, then to be served wrapped in butcher paper together with mediocre sides served in Styrofoam. C'mon, people. REALLY!?!?
