The real thing. Yankees won't like having to wait in line and no table service...but that means more for me! Great ...brisket, jalapeño sausage, and the ribs are the best in town. I don't care what anyone else says...This is the best barbecue in DFW, and some of the best in the state. Nevermind the wait, the food is absolutely worth it!

We thought it would be good but were very disappointed The place looks like it would be very good but the food was so-so and the service was very poor. When we entered we weren't exactly sure what to do. You go to the very back, order and then they bring the food. It was not all that great and the people who worked there were more interested in talking...
Ok BBQ We went there hoping for really good BBQ but were disappointed! The brisket was good but sort of dry and the ribs were undercooked. We have heard so much about the amazing BBQ but we were disappointed.
Very Disappointed - Not "Lockhart" Quallity This was my second visit and I won't be going back.... Ordered brisket, shoulder clod and a couple of sausage to go. The brisket and shoulder clod were terrible - little to no smoke flavor, meat was dry and tough, no taste of rub or any bark on the meat. I like the sausage - they claim its from Kreuz...

Very disappointed I had heard for 2-3 years how wonderful their bbq was. Brisket was very dry, sides were tasteless, service was slow, and the dining room was filthy. i'll never go back.
