This is located in a nice shopping area and there was plenty of easy parking to be found. I had an appointment set at 11 and walked in to a really clean well lit salon! I was immediately greeted and they hung up my coat and checked me in for my services.. I was offered water tea or coffee and just took the water . Mary Jane was my colorist and she took the time to speak with me about what I wanted and my expectations..I asked for suggestions and she was a wealth of knowledge.. I seriously love this hair salon!! The mission behind it is genius!! High quality products, Quicker timeframe, Lesser cost - say no more!! The staff was very friendly and great at explaining the process and also excellent and making suggestions! I love that it is a women owned company, and you can definitely feel it from the inspirational writing on the wall and mirrors! As a member of Yelp Elite, I was able to receive a complimentary service. I booked roots and gloss ( valued at $80) online which was super easy to do. There was a space for notes to the stylist in which I requested keeping my silver gray hair but wanted dark hair ( at the top) to match. However, once submitting I noticed that Madison Reed doesn't do bleaching or lifting of any type. The following day, I received a phone call from MJ asking questions about my hair. I've been using Madison Reed for about 9 months now and it was my first time going to the color bar. I absolutely loved it. Everyone was super helpful and nice. They found the perfect color for me! Definitely will be back when I visit Fort Worth again.

I see a review from Vanessa and couldn't agree more with her assessment on the man who works there. I am actually glad she said something because he is extremely rude. (Kind of glad it's not just me) It's sad that they allow a man to treat women that way, given they are a women empowering company. However, in saying that rest of the staff is fabulous. Jordan and O'Dallas do a fabulous job with my hair. I always have great with those two in particular. I hope you give them another try and get someone who is much nicer.

Such a nightmare. I went here because I use Madison Reed Hair Color at home and have to dye my hair about every two weeks to cover grays. A couple times a year I have my stylist color my hair to make sure I get good coverage in the back. Madison Reed gave me a $80 credit to try this color bar!!! Huge mistake. they waste their time with being overly friendly but wow what they did I got more coverage on my forehead than my hair. They'll wreck your highlights, putting you in a stylist's chair without a mirror, not allowing you to participate. You'll come out with the MR color of the month regardless---highlights gone! I went back 3 times in 4 days, as after complaining to the manager, I was told they'd make it right. They didn't---it was almost laughable---I'd expect the towel to come off to show my lovely highlights had returned. They never did, and I quit while I still had hair. ***WARNING DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A BLONDE*** O'Dallas was my stylist, she literally ruined my hair before big birthday event. My hair was already blonde, highlighted and processed before she ever touched it. I went in for the balayage to darken it up a little so the blonde line wasn't so harsh when it grows out. She left bleach on my hair for 2 hours, after I asked her multiple times to check it when it had been on for over 90 minutes.
