First off, I hate writing bad reviews, I have only written very few. We booked my daughter a balayage appointment for her graduation. They canceled her appointment, sent her an email saying she was a "no show" and put a "hold" on her account for $62. My daughter is upset, and graduation is tomorrow. When she called to ask what happened, she was told that they booked her with the wrong stylist who didn't know how to do it, so they canceled her appointment. Edit to add: Am glad to hear that the tips are calculated only for services and not products. I've been coming to Madison Reed for a while. They have a membership where you pay $55.00 a month to get unlimited root touch ups. For this alone I rate the salon 5 stars. $55.00 is the base price most places charge for one time only! I would NOT recommend. They died my hair orange.. it was such an ugly gross color and I have never and didn't want any red or orange hair. The lady told me I wouldn't like it while she was washing my hair. Unprofessional and overall bad experience
