Thank you to the Madison Reed Color Bar Manager, Eric, at the Scottsdale location. Eric reached out to me immediately in follow up initial visit after reading my original post. Not only did he reach out, he set up a follow up appointment with me immediately to do a consult and color correction. First time at the Kierland location. Everyone was very nice, and I loved how soft my hair was after I dried it. I added the $12. color stay conditioner, which at my last salon I got put on for free. Now for the bad news... I think they left the color on way too long,(I get red) and now I have some very dark areas in my hair. The biggest bummer is now my hair doesn't match my clip-ins which I brought with me and showed my colorist before she chose the color. I hope it washes out sooner than later. I haven't had my hair colored in probably a year. Now in my 70's there was a lot of gray coming in and I guess I'm just not ready to accept it as the new norm. So I made my appointment at the new salon in Scottsdale, AZ for a weave. Cassie took care of me. We had a nice discussion prior to her going to work. Madison reid scottsdale was great!!! In-and-out within 1.5 hours!!! The shampoo was so relaxing and my hair feels amazing.!!!! You can't beat it for $40 a month!!!!
