The Gilmore collection has many restaurants in the area. I am lukewarm about most of them. However, I thought this one was a real gem. Our son had the swordfish; it was cooked just right and tasty, not too fishy. I ate the sea bass; it was very good. My husband ordered the red lasagna; it was good, although he thought the sausage could have had more spice. I was greatly impressed with the beautiful Victorian Christmas decorations and ambience. Will definitely go again.

Great to meet friends coming from out of town. They purchased a gift certificate to come back!
We took our grandchildren here for a "dinner-date" before going out to a show, and it was perfect. They enjoyed doing a little finer dinning then they are used to, and the menu had plenty of items for them to choose from. The grandeur of the old Wurzburg Mansion the restaurant is housed in was great, and the kids enjoyed "touring" the upstairs of the old home.
I have been to mangiamos several times and they have all been wonderful, but this time we had a bad waitress who was cranky and didn't even bother giving us the cheese and oil that is supposed to go with the bread. We had to ask for it and the waitress was not being pleasant as she took our orders and served us. Very strange, wish I had her name to complain about her.
My wife and I have been coming to your restaurant for many years and always have a great experience. This was Veterans Day and as a Marine Corps veteran it was wonderful of you to offer a free meal to a veteran. We will be back, all ten of our family.
This was our second time there. Great atmosphere, great food, reasonable prices.
I wanted to like Mangiamo! The building is nice, the vibe is energetic. But the food just wasn't that good. My wife's chicken parmagiana entree featured a bland piece of breast meat, with a sauce that was too ... sweet? The service was friendly, but there were several things that weren't done right the first time. That detracted from the meal. Our food was wonderful - will definitely go back. Our waitress was so/so, talked softly for the noise level in the restaurant, so was hard to understand. We felt prices were fair
