Food and service was great, will come back again.
We had a wonderful time dining last Wednesday evening. For six ladies who don't get to see one another often enough, this was a perfect spot for conversation, drinks, and dinner.
I really enjoy eating at local restaurants so I decided to try Mangiamo! because of all the great reviews it's gotten from my friends. Though the dining experience was good, there was nothing special about the resaturant besides the fact it's in an old renovated house. Our server was trying to be as attentive as possible but they seemed to be understaffed that night. Also the pasta was okay but again nothing special about it. The food was great and they were very polite and wonderful. Our server was very consistent with asking if we needed anything at all.
I brought out of state guests for a business dinner. We were all impressed with the dinner and service. We were there on 10/8, reservation was under Maria Rentz.
Several times we have enjoyed ourselves at Mangiamo. Consistently very good food, excellent service, great ambience and stunning lawn space. If we came to Mangiamo with a hurried and anxious mood, we left satiated, satisfied and happy. We will return many more times.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was bc I just thought there'd be more Italian food on menu. Don't get me wrong, there were Italian options, but they had steaks and seafood...but I didn't feel an overwhelming emphasis on Italian. And for some reason, the title of the restaurant perhaps, I just assumed it'd be REALLY Italian. Despite this, the food we got was excellent. Our service was fabulous. The General Manager saw to it that our dining experience with a party of 10 was just as expected, and it was!! Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!
Brought guests from out of town...excellent service, food was very good. one guest ordered an eggplant dish...it was pretty, different and she loved it! Lasagna and chicken dishes were well prepared and excellent as well.
