Bought on sale, good for the price I chose this printer based on ink costs- replacements are pretty cheap. Brother is also a reliable brand in general- even if their printers aren't as "pretty" as HP or Cannon. Like most printers, you have to google the drivers to download or it won't work as smoothly as it could. I skipped the bloatware and only downloaded the drivers & updater tool, and it works fine. Too many false jams reported This printer would be a great printer if it were not for the false jams reported much too regularly. About 50 – 60 percent of the time it shows a paper jam even when only 1 page prints and it exits perfectly, yet shows a paper jam. Crazy right? Other than that it prints fast with excellent quality.
Cheap Printer It works just fine, especially for the price. No problems with wi-fi connection.
great home office printer/scanner Easy to connect over wifi, good quality prints, including pictures. Seems to go easy on the ink and accepts non-brand cartridges. small size means it doesn't take up too much space on my desk

Cost on a budget Liked quality
Works fine and prints fine Fast set up via wifi. Wished it had USB connection though. Works fine and prints fine. Kinda slow when you print “2-sided” as prints one side then refeeds the same paper to print the other side. Works as fax machine and copier. Worth the price. However ink is expensive compared to previous model. Better to buy the “older” version
Easy Setup - Working great so far... This printer had the easiest setup I've every experienced with and all in one printer. (this is my third) It took no more than 15 minutes - may be longer if you're setting up Fax. I won't be using that function. So far, in the little time I've had it - printing has been very easy using my home WIFI system. I'm going to try to update my review once I have to re-order ink - usually that's a headache that comes with sticker shock. Consider this review to be continued...
Great value Cheap printer. Cheap ink. Great all in one machine. Like the air print feature. Why buy HP?
