MEH Printer is small, a plus Printer is slow Ink is expensive Biggest beef: no rear tray for feeding legal or specialty paper. Manual implies there is one but I can't find it. My printing needs have changed - so don't use fax. Take a look at Canon printers for more features. I will keep this one but am not in love
Great Printer This machine is easy to use and makes great copies and original prints.
Easy to use. We like everything about the printer except the buttons you need to press to make a copy or scan are very small. I'm thinking we have to place the printer on a taller cabinet so the buttons are eye level rather than having to bend down and try to see which button to press. Otherwise it is great for the price.
Drains ink when not using This printer is definitely functional. It's easy to use except for entering data like an email address to scan to. The real issue is the ink. I don't use the printer often right now, but the ink levels keep decreasing for no reason. It'll often turn on in the middle of the night or early morning to process something, and the ink levels decrease. It's a good, affordable printer, but Brother will make it's money on ink.

Best printer I have had in years. I like the size and ease of set up with this printer. I have gotten rid of my dinosaur PC and not only use my tablet and phone. It was very quick to set up scanning, printing, pdf conversion and everything I need to not miss my pc one bit. I also like that I simply send a file and it prints. This is unlike many fussy printers I have had.
so far so good It is by far the easiest printer that I've had to pleasure to set up. Not very gimmicky or pushy about making you a member of their club which is a definite plus. Consistently reliable and doesn't shut off if the ink is low... it will keep printing to the bitter end (thank goodness). I would definitely buy this printer again... as long as it holds up for another year mind you. :)
Good buy I hd a hard time finding positive reviews for any inkjet, but I figured brother was about the most reputable. So far, so good. I love being able to print from the network, including from my phone.
Easy set-up, reliably on-line and easy to use! I bought this in January and have been using this for 7 months. Pros: - I am still using the print cartridges provided with the purchase! I'm a casual user to be sure but this is a nice surprise.
