Little quirky and finicky machine I love this little printer but it has some quirks. You’ll figure them out in no time. All colors of inks need cartridges but set it to use only black and white. It makes lovely copies and is cost efficient. It’s slow too, but seldom jams up or has an issue. Quite finicky but slow down in life.
A decent printer with most of the features The printer wifi setup is very easy and I didn't have any issues in connecting it to my home network. I like the print quality and even tried a few photo prints on plain papers and photo printer papers and all came out well with acceptable quality. Only I felt that the print speed is somewhat low. Nice Printer I've used Brother printers for a good number of years and they have not disappointed. Good and dependable
New printer Only issue I had was getting the setup right. I am in my late 70's and not all that tec smart. I also found that the updated improvements stretched me a little as I had to learn a few new ways of doing my printing. Its always a good day when one learns something. Overall, so far so good. Loving it as I did with my 2013 model.
I love it! It just works! I have always found printers to be frustrating and finicky. Until now! This one plugs into ethernet for wifi, I use it only sparingly, but when I click to print something it always just works! Yes it does use a ton of ink, but I found a third party distributor of ink that is 1/3 the cost and just as effective. I've had it for well over a year now and am still happy! Would recommend to a friend.
