Not great quality Printer started streaking when prints
Only 10 weeks old and constant problems This printer has been nothing but problems since new out of the box. First it always printed 2 sided. Called Brother tech support and they tried to blame it on the software. I finally got that fixed on my own by going in to the printer settings and changing some things. It was the printer, not the software yet their own tech support couldn't figure that out. Fast forward a month later, past the 30 day return window. Do not buy this piece of garbage This is the biggest piece of crap printer. Mostly prints error pages, partial and incomplete pages m, and has a hard time staying connected to WIFI. It’s a waste of paper and ink. Never really worked and seller refused to refund or exchange.
Brother Printer I switched from HP printers because of the cost of ink. Brother does allow 3000 pages for black printing and 1500 for color. Other options(two sided printing, scanning and enlargement ) are awesome!
nice size, attractive color combo Does the job well, but so different from HP printers. Ink is very expensive and seems to get used up fast. Don't buy ink from them for 25.00 a cartridge It takes 4 of them. Buy from LD products.com for 19.00 a cartridge
Gone - Only 7 months old Over the past 15 - 20 years, I have bought about 6 or 7 printers and/or all-in-ones, lasers and inkjets, color and monochromes. They have been good, durable machines. Indeed, I have given some away still working when I wanted something different. They were all Brother products. Do not buy this machine Brother MFC J5830dw I bought it due to its large input capacity 250 sheets. My first Mail Merge doc was over 350 pages. I know that it would run the 250 pages and wait for me to refill it again. When I got to the machine papers from the output tray were all over the floor, folded in the output tray and generally confused and in no order nor packed like you would expect. Piece of junk BEWARE! This printer is a piece of junk. I haven't been able to get it to work consistently. Sometimes it will print a day after I send the print job. It is not reliable and a big waste of money.
I Had Great Hopes For This Printer! On some of the reviews it said this printer printed very good photos. The ones I printed were terrible. I have a cheap HP printer that prints pictures better than this. I called Brother support. They kept having me clean my new machine. I asked how it could need cleaning when it was new, they didn't really have an answer other than they were trying to help me with my print quality. I haven't even got to use the printer & it says I now need to replace the Magenta & Yellow ink cartridges!!! ... read more
