MFC-J5830DW is a Great Printer, fast, quiet and so far realiable I am so done with HP 8500 Printers, and definitely love the new MFC-J5830DW Brother Printer. My HPE printers, always had issues, with connectivity, driver bugs, paper jams, and constantly was aligning print heads taking forever to print. Four Stars Good at the right price!
Very happy so far This replaced an older HP inkjet which software was failing. This machine works great and so far we have used for extensive printing (text, brochures, presentations) and scanning. I have found that you need to install the full software package from Brother as the Windows 10 drivers alone do not get everything running properly. Adobe would not recognize the scanner without the full Brother software, once installed it scans great. One minor complaint is the number of pages which can be loaded into the feeder.... read more

Impressive Printer at a Great Price I really like this printer except for one thing - the fax. There was nothing in the set-up that allowed for my answering machine to pick up before the fax does, so I had to pull the phone cord from the printer. I'm sure there's something somewhere allowing me to do so as an afterthought, but I've never had an all-in-one that didn't allow you to set up the fax v. answering machine as part of the initial installation, and I've had home printers for over 25 years. Great Pratt, fast print and great price Ink Great prayer, fast print and great price Inc. When you click print, there is no delay in the paper just starts coming out. I love the lower-cost ink and not having to replace my toners all the time. This is one of the best prayers I have had and I have owned many, most of which have been Brother laser printers, but this one by far bypasses them all.
