Good... but with major setup issues I purchased this printer to replace an aging Epson Workforce. What attracted me to Brother was the claimed low ink utilization, something that I have yet to validate. When I finally got the printer working, I was impressed with the print quality - the paper was not saturated with ink as I have found on other makes. The why did I give it only 3 stars? Excellent Wide Format Printer! Very nice printer! I have been extremely pleased with this printer. Is was easy to set up and connect to our wireless network. It prints very fast and with super nice clarity. I really like the second tray for 11x17 paper and the fact that it can scan and copy 11x17 sheets! It is a little larger than I expected (even knowing the dimensions) but it is a fantastic printer with a lot of capabilities for the price! Highly recommend especially if you're looking for something to print 11x17 sheets.
Good, but cannot use both network and wireless. Good printer! Bought because it can handle ledger size paper too and easy on ink. Yes, it is big, but lots of extra good functions. Double sided, scans, etc. Only two caveats from getting 5 stars is that you cannot be both wireless and wired to network. It is either or. So, you either choose speed of network or convenience of wireless. But, you can't have your cake and eat it too. Really fast, low-cost ink, plus crisp print, but awful output tray. I've had this printer for just over one month and so far so good. It's a good printer with excellent output quality, but it's not without annoyances. Four Stars Affordable, and shipped quickly. Print quality is 80%, but for the price its okay.
