The wireless setup was a breeze, the print quality is very good, and the duplex scanning feature was a welcome surprise. I didn't know it was going to scan both sides of the page with a single pass. This is my fourth Brother printer and I have never been disappointed. I needed a larger format printer and this was a real bargain. I'm a happy guy.
Great 11x17 Printer. I can't say enough about this printer. Lowest cost per sheet, 30ppm and I can print 11x17 from a paper cartridge in the printer and not single sheet or hanging out the back of the thing. Brother makes great printers. I also have a B&W laser and a Color Laser. The laser quality is better than the inkjet but they can't do 11x17. I would buy this printer again in a heartbeat. Evolved version of Brother Inkjet series printers, at this writing it is nearly the best in it's class from Brother. The Brother Inkjet MFC J69xx series has evolved over time. The J69 prefix on a brother model indicates the highest end of this style of inkjet printer from Brother. My old Brother J6910DW has been dying, and is just over 6 years old. Substantial Printer! Very happy so far! This printer was more expensive than the HP large format printer, but the last HP one I bought only lasted 18 mos. This one out of the box, is substantially more robust. The overall quality is very apparent. It has two paper trays and a manual feed for larger or specialty papers, that makes it one million more times convenient when printing different sizes in one sitting. Printer Is Great, Instructions on Auto Ink Replacement, not so much BIGGEST PLUSSES: The printer itself works pretty good. As noted by others, there's a bit of hesitation before printing starts (given that the data needs to be transmitted via WiFi, and that isn't quite as quick as hard-wired). Best Inkjet for 11x17 Color Newsletter prints you can buy! We needed an economical printer to print our own newsletters on 11x17 paper. This machine has handled several print runs flawlessly. The colors (when using Brother OEM ink on the "Best" setting) are flawless with zero bleed through. We're using 32lb Hammermill paper sourced from Amazon and our newsletters look FANTASTIC. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone with similar needs.
Great product! Love this printer ! I print from anywhere and can scan anything while using the app on my phone! It's great because anything I scan can go straight to my phone by using that! Scans are quick and high quality! This was important to me because sometimes I have 10+ high quality scans I need to complete and normally high quality means it takes longer but this does it in a breeze! I reccomend this printer to everyone I know especially for college students !
