Great product Works really good happy with it would buy again
Does the job. In October I paid about $100 less than what this is going for now on Amazon. I'd say it's a decent inkjet printer, a bit better than others I have had from other manufacturers , including HP and Epson. I just do basic tasks like printing recipes and envelopes. Using Brother printer with MacOS 12 (Monterey) AirPrint Things may still go awry (the printer has only been up and running for a few hours), but must say that my worries about the printer (based on some reviews) have NOT been confirmed. Installation was easy as the proverbial pie. Printer is actually a bit faster than its predecessor (a 7 year old Canon), and print quality is darn good. Still going Still going after almost a year of good use unlike the previous HP's I've had. Support page is annoying. Ink lasts okay and is easy to replace in it's own little door. The envelope operation in the back of the printer is not a easy as the HP drawer but I don't use it often anyway.
Very glad I went back to the Brother brand This is probably a review against HP more than a review for Brother. HP's products have become increasingly difficult to use and expensive to maintain. Web connections are difficult and always need to be maintained. Expensive ink and ink subscriptions are just another pain I don't need. Easy set up I really like and appreciate that the set-up was so easy. The first printer I ordered did not work. I sent it back, and within a few days, the new one arrived. It prints well, touch screen is easy, and I really like it. Made a great choice!
It works. For reasons unknown to me, my Canon MX printer got the red screen of death error code (planned obsolescence, anyone?), so after I ran over it with the bulldozer I ordered this. What can I say, it works. Setup was super easy, no issues handshaking with my Mac. It prints, and it’s a much smaller footprint than what I had. This printer has a flatbed scanner and does enlarge up to 400%, and that’s important for me as I use it to enlarge patterns.
Git 'er done Bought this three years ago and it has worked flawlessly. Prints fine, scans fine, faxes fine. What's not to like? I'm not an at home business or anything, so not a heavy user, but it works when I need it.
