Overall Good Printer Purchased this printer in 2018. Overall it is a good printer with good print quality. The issue I have is the bypass: 1) it can only hold one paper at a time; 2) When printing an envelope I almost always encounter issues with it not pulling envelope through correctly.
Wow!!! I am technologically disadvantaged. My aunt had to help me set up printer. But since she set it up I have had no issues. I cannot fax because I do not have a landline but I have scanned and printed not only from my computer but my cell phone. It has been so easy that I want to learn what else this printer can do!!! Best printer I've ever had. I've had this printer since 2018, bought it because i started a online business, i print about in average 2 papers a day, ive gone through like a 1000 prints easily, i scan rarely but whenver i do is clear and really good. never had problems with it, easy to install easy to connect to phone and really user friendly. Best Printer I've Ever Had I have owned a dozen printers over the years and I had pretty much figured all of them were junk in one way or another. That is until I bought this printer and WOW! Super reliable. Super good quality printing. And dirt cheap to operate. No more running to the store to get more @#$% ink cartridges every time I turned around. Best printer I've ever owned This is my second Brother printer and after owning an HP -this is a joy to set up and use. I like this printer because it is compact and fits on a bookshelf - It color prints, scans, and faxes. I Love the cartridges that are easily installed with no mess. It comes with a CD that has complete installation instructions . Hard to find any printer these days--I think they are in short supply because everyone was working from home for the past year. Started off great, but now doesn't print at all I really thought Brother had figured something out with this printer. It was under $200 and it felt like the ink lasted forever. But here we are 4 years later, I've printed barely half a ream of paper, and now when I print something, the paper comes out CLEAN - not a drop of ink on it. (even after several ink head cleanings) I was willing to buy a new one - but now the price is around 4x higher. Oh Brother, where art thou gone?
Efficient- uses less ink than competitor brands I bought this printer in school several years ago. I printed ALL of my class notes/PP slides as I study best with a hard copy in hand. I ordered the extra set of ink cartridges and years later I am only just now opening them. By using the ‘draft’ print mode that my computer allows, I feel this printer was absolutely worth the investment. An excellent printer! Actually my first brother after many Canon and HP printers over the years. Can honestly say I like it the best. Ink has lasted the longest of any printer I've ever had. Been working great since I purchased it on August 20, 2016 for 149.99! Not sure why this one costs $350 dollars more!
