Good printer for the money. I like this printer color on plain paper is good, easy to set up . I am 86 and if I can do it anyone should be able to do it. I had to connect to wi fi twice but no problem after that . Printer is a little slower then some I have owned but I was tired of paying higher prices for Epson and HP inks. I have not used for photos yet .
Great printer for home and small business Brother's android app and windows software have lots of options I use everyday. Print quality is excellent all around.
Good printer This is my third Brother printer of this type. It works really well. When you buy a printer, don't expect tech support to help much beyond "it will cost as much as a new one to fix, so better just buy a new one". That goes for most printer brands.
Great on ink! This printer will definitely keep your ink costs low! We've used this printer in our home office now for around a year and a half. The black cartridge lasted around 1300 sheets! That's almost unbelievable compared to our past printers. We've replaced one of the three color cartridges but the others are still going (though low). Ink is reasonably priced as well. equal quality to Dell! a great printer
Doesn’t break, and ink last a very long time Excellent printer for home business. I have gone through a ton of these type of printers. Canon, HP, Epson which were all ok but they were constantly in need of changing ink after limited use. Along came the brother MFC-j985DW!! This brother is baaaad! as in good!! Works terrific and the ink lasts a more than reasonable amount of time. Definitely worth the investment.
Has all the features I need. This is what I was looking for in a printer. I spent hours looking for printers, looking through reviews ... Great for a home office After reading what felt like a million reviews on all different multi-function printers, I decided that the Brother Inkjet Printer, MFC-J985DW was the right choice for my needs.
