Worked well for awhile. Now it takes forever a ... Worked well for awhile. Now it takes forever a print to start, than it just keeps printing the same pages over and over. Will print a job, than 30 minutes later we'll hear the printer printing again, the same job.

Buyer Beware Pros: You don't have to worry about buying expensive replacement ink because your printer may not last long enough to run out of ink. Cons: Printer lasted barely one month before dying. And just as I need to print important documents. And support isn't available on the weekends. But everything online points to a hardware failure. Hopefully Brother will take care of the situation when they finish up their restful weekend.
Do not purchase before you purchase any brother product look at the thousand of videos on youtube of people trying to get brand new brother printers to work. total garbage.
This printer does not print labels without an excruciating work-around. When I purchased this printer I was impressed by the ink supply and cost compared to my old HP. I was tired of buying ink (up to $80 every two months) and this Brother printer was offering me a different approach to buying ink. I am now debating buying a cheap (with super expensive ink) HP just to print labels, which as a teacher, I need to print once a week. Hope this one is it! So far so good. Purchased because it was featured as #1 best overall home printer. Set up all took less than 15 min and I was printing wirelessly. At first the setup page was confusing because it asked to install the start up ink. I did not find any ink labeled start up. There were 3 individually wrapped bags which held the ink. Color printing is very pale I thought I would really like this and I would if I didn't need to print colors... the color printing is very pale/faded despite changing the settings and trying different paper. I returned it because I really needed a printer that would print brighter colors. What a shame... I had such high hopes and I am sad to have to return it. The stop sign on top is from my cheap Canon printer and the one on the bottom is from the Brother printer.
Brother Printer - Horrible I should have returned it. It's very poorly made. It's very slow and the paper holder that pulls out is really crap. It constantly falls off. The ink does last longer than my former HP and the ink is less expensive. Still not worth it.
Worked at first Now it just says "no pc found on the network". It worked right after installation but that's it. Now I have to reinstall the software on my computer every time I want to scan something.
