Great compatct MFC office machine! This is a great MFC. This unit replaced an older Brother MFC and the improvements are great. Super easy to use and since it it wireless I can print from my phone.

Prints faster connected by USB than WiFi. This printer replaced one I had for 5 years. I like the idea of having a 3 years supply of ink and the low cost to print per page. I originally connected it via wifi to my main computer, but printing was a little slow. When I connected it via USB, there was a noticeable increase in print speed.
Great cost of ink/page, great copies. Switched from HP because I didn't like their monthly ink policy and high cost of ink. Brother comes with two year supply of ink (two changes). I thought the printing and color were fine. Seems to be cheapest on the market for ink cost of printing 1 cent/page black; 4.5 cents color they say, though initial cost is high because you buy two ink changes plus the original. Buying another one for work to replace the HP that decided it no longer prints in color. Hoping Brother maintains good support that allows us to use these printers for as long as we like. Works Great So far, the printer works fine. I wanted one with the induvidual color ink cartridges, because for example, when printing programs for a Christmas concert, the red and green inks in an “all-in-one” cartridge will run out before the rest of the colors. I print the programs every year, and with my previous printer, always ran through several expensive cartridges. This past Christmas, I printed over 300 very colorful programs, and did not have to replace any cartridges.
