Very disappointed in this product Works for a little bit then the first page starts printing with creases. Brother replaced it once and replacement does the same thing. After months of back and forth trying to get issues resolved as they happen, company now says out of warranty so won't replace it. We were verbally told on the phone warranty would be extended because of all the issues but now that appears to not be so. Very disappointed in this product.
Horrible service We have multiple Brother printers at our office. We purchased this one in January and have had 3 replacements sent because it is not working. Brother admits that there is a software issue on their side but will not give us our money back. We purchased this particular printer because we use the copier, fax, printer and scanner everyday. One Star Printer did not bring the High Yield TN-850 Toner as advertised. Instead the printer included the standard TN-820.
I always buy Brother printers but with this one I didn't have good luck. It was leaking & all the papers ... Didn't work for me. I always buy Brother printers but with this one I didn't have good luck. It was leaking & all the papers were too dark. We tried to fix with help of customer service but didn't help. I had to return back to Amazon & bought another model of Brother. Thanks to Amazon who took it back & refunded me all the money including sent me return label without any extra cost to me.
DEGRADED print quality, crinkled pages. I have had two for a while now and both have degraded in print quality. I've changed toner's in both, but what I see is gray bleed across the page and also pages getting crinkled. I'm been a loyal brother customer for over 12 years. These two were the most expensive brother printers I've bought and unfortunately, their reliability isn't what it used to be. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS SERIES.
Scan to Email Server FAIL At this moment, I'm going to give them 1 star because the scan to email server stopped working on day 2. The only way to fix it is by power cycling the printer. Called support and they always asked that I power cycle our router in another words our $25k router/fw could be the issue. their tech support sucks. told me it wasn't their problem its microsofts ... I spent three hours trying to install the software on 3 different windows 7 computers. never could get it to work. their tech support sucks. told me it wasn't their problem its microsofts problem to call them. also said its not their software at fault I wouldn't be able to install ANY printer due to the obvious windows issue. funny.
