Disappointing Prints poor quality. Replaced the drum twice and the fault wasn’t the drum.
Poor print quality and worse support When they say they only cover manufacturer defects they mean it. I purchased the printer for my kids school and later found out it was printing a gray background across almost the entire page. It would go away after a dozen pages but start back up the next time you print. I contacted support and they sent me a list of how to clean the drum and corona wires. very disappointed I have a small business and we print a lot. i always bought Brother printers , they worked well for my purposes. this particular model is a complete disappointment. it will not print on the glossy paper, so any kind of labels come out with blotches of black ink or half printed, ink rubs off, checks are not usable. I changed types of ink several times, bought new drum - absolutely no use. going to buy different brand now
Don’t Buy It Don’t buy this printer. We bought two—one for our home office and another for our office—and both have problems. We use Macs and large PDFs don’t print despite using the latest OS, drivers, and firmware. The only way to print large PDFs is to print 20 pages at a time, which defeats the purpose of this machine. Failed Prematurely and I'm stuck with unopened toner I bought this printer for our office in September of 2017, hoping it would last longer that 1 1/2 years. But it now creases the paper. I spent hours on the phone with Brother tech support. They'd give me a software fix, which never worked. It had a one year warranty, so no help from Brother in fixing it or replacing it. junk This machine cut out on me after a year. NO LCD!!! I am livid. Spent about $600. The electronics just cut out. Kept powering off and on and now the tech help says it has to go to a service center - because the warranty expired. STAY AWAY FROM BROTHER. I had the older version for 13 years. Ran beautifully. Now this. What a sham. I am so disgusted.
Mix with dual pages print When print to the double sides page it will mix both side image in one page and the other page miss the image.
JUNK DO NOT BUY I have had nothing but problems. WIFI connection is very poor. I have it FIOS here so its not the internet. ALSO THE FEEDER is very sensitive. IT constantly requires multiple shut downs to reset itself. BEWARE. I run a tax business so i'm not scanning anything other than w2's and it can't even handle that.!! TERRIBLE JUNK
