Our experience was great because Mia helped us find the right loan for us. When we told her about everything we had, our story, and our circumstances, she worked with us everyday to get us into our home. The amount of patience she showed us will always be appreciated. Contrary to popular belief, the process of buying a house was really fun for my wife and I. Mia worked hard to help us understand the loan process and what it would take to get us approved. She was patient with us and well-organized during the entire setup. We are extremely grateful that we chose Mia and VanDyk Mortgage to service us!
I am a self employed, so jumping through hoops is always something sole proprietors deal with on a daily. But, buying a home for the first I realized that jumping my daily hoops was nothing compared to the FHA loan process. Fortunately enough I had Mia! She was a miracle worker, not only did she keep me grounded during the whole process but she definitely worked her tail off for me. She went above and beyond! Because of Mia, I'm now an official first time home owner.

Mia DiSalvo was great through the whole process however there were times when the underwriter put her in a tough spot because at least twice we thought we were done with the approval process and the underwriter would request more documents days after. That part was very frustrating because it caused me to leave my responsibilities at work to rush around and find documents that should have been requested two weeks earlier at the beginning of the entire process.
