While Midland took care of my cat for many years, I do believe that the recent blood pressure medicine did him in - be careful, ask questions about medication!
Dr. Switzer has been our vet for many years. He is extremely compassionate and caring. He gives pet parents quick results with lab test and possible treatment options. He never hurries me and makes me feel like my pets are the most important part of his day. I would highly recommend Dr. Switzer to anyone seeking a caring vet who does not over treat or over prescribe.
Midland has been great for both my dog Kuma & our newest member Kitty Rue. They offer advice & they accommodate as best they can in the instances in which our pets happen to hurt themselves- Kuma woke up with a bloody eye & I was able to take her in the same day. They are always very verrrry busy (which speaks to the service they provide for both pets & parents) I'd recommend scheduling ur appt ahead of time! Im crazy about my pets, Midland does a great job at relieving my stress during those times. 10/10 would recommend!
Dr. Switzer came in on a Sunday morning to see our dog when she had a problem from a surgery done by another vet. The other vet wanted us to take our dog to an emergency clinic. Midland animal clinic is our regular vet and he took care of business and got our girl all fixed up. They are very professional. Office staff is helpful. They have done a great job taking care of our animals and families during the pandemic. Thanks to all of the great vets and staff at Midland Animal Clinic.

3 stars for quality of medical care ONLY My family has been coming to this veterinary office since the mid-1990s when they were a little wood shack across the road. Dr Augustine is the OG vet here. I will say the quality of care we have received here over the years has been very good. I know that I'm always going to get a well-informed opinion on my animals' medical needs. I just brought my dog in for a first ever visit with Dr. Switzer at Midland. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. Dr. Switzer talked to me for a very long time about any concerns that I had and explained everything to me. I felt that he was very knowledgeable, compassionate and offered me alternatives that cost the least amount of money. I am so happy to have found Dr. Switzer. Also, everyone that I talked to with was wonderful to deal with. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice.
Nothing but absolute respect and gratefully to the entire team, especially Dr. Polishuk. For the past couple years our cocker spaniel, Lexy has been battling mammary cancer, stomach cancer, dementia, and some other issues. They gave us all the things we needed to make her life as comfortable as possible and Dr. Polishuk was transparent with us throughout the entire time. I can't say enough about the excellent care we received from Midland Animal Clinic when our Golden Retriever became suddenly ill last Saturday. Dr. Switzer called me back immediately after I contacted the after-hours answering service. He sent me to a 24 hour urgent care vet where my dog was kept overnight and diagnosed with a serious illness. It became clear that my dog was not improving after I picked her up Sunday.
