If I could give this dealer zero stars, I would. This place is absolute trash. I bought a 2019 MINI JCW from them, I was assured by the salesman that everything had been gone through and everything was taken care of on the car. Since I purchased during COVID-19 and don't live in Knoxville, they met me half way in Asheville. Dec. 2018 Update: Purchased a used mini in Dec. 2017 and I love the car but the managers and the service dept. are awful. My brakes grind when I press them and the rotors have a groove in them. Their response mutliple times (multiple trips to the dealership) is that the brakes/rotors are "dirty" and they wash them off. We have a maintenance warranty that came with the mini but they're refusing to replace my brakes due to them still being in "spec". Went there to look at a used car. They treated me like they thought I couldn't afford the car and told me they would have to run my credit just to test drive a USED CAR. The car they saw me pull up in was more expensive than the car I wanted to test drive. They obviously didn't want my business.

Justin, the vehicle you are referring to is the 2018 Civic Type-R. This vehicle is to us, extremely rare and collectible. You even mentioned you've attempted to test-drive them before and a similar situation occurred where the dealer wanted to at least agree to numbers before a drive. It’s not about Mini of Knoxville it’s about the Mini brand in general. We bought a brand new 2015 Mini Cooper S in November of 2015 and the problems started weeks after we bought it. The sensors to the safety systems on the car quit working so they had to take possession of the car until the parts came in to fix it. Next the seal around windshield went bad and when they popped the glass out it looked like a snake and had started leaking. No the car has never been wrecked. I just bought a 2015 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring AWD with 22,800 miles on it. I was told the car was in perfect condition. First thing I noticed when I arrived to view the vehicle was that it smelled like smoke. My wife decided she could live with it so we went ahead and purchased the vehicle. On the 2nd day of ownership, I noticed oil in my garage and on my driveway. I immediately contacted the salesman who sold me the car and was told there is nothing they can do.
