2013 Mini Buy Review I recently purchased a 2013 MINI Cooper S and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I worked with Kyle Esler and he was great. I first got to know Mitch and the service team at Bill Jacobs when out of the blue, my 2007 Mini (affectionately named Forrest, denoting his British Racing Green styling) seemed to have caught something like that nasty virus that's going around. Buyers Beware!!!!! I purchased my vehicle from Bill Jacobs Mini on 6/13 and Here is what I had to go through. I arrived around 2 pm and upon checking with the sales person(Marina) I was able to get to the vehicle and test drive it which mechanically worked fine at that time. I went in for paperwork and the car was sent for detailing around 4pm(dealership closes at 6pm) and it was just like car wash, clean exterior with water wiped and interior is same. Terrible Overall Experience with Bill Jacobs Mini Can't give "0" stars, so it's Bill Jacob's lucky day. I (unfortunately) purchased a new 2007 mini cooper s from Bill Jacobs in Naperville. What a nightmare. The absolutely worst (and most expensive) mistake I have ever made, buying this Mini from Bill Jacobs. In and out of the shop dozens of times. Endless problems and headaches. Why sell a car, Definitely not the place to make inquires or request information from. I emailed in asking for a specific car becasue I've done a lot of research, I asked for a lease for 3yr 36mo on a specific stock number, I asked for msrp and the actual selling price, never got that. I asked for a window sticker, to review the options, never got that.
