My son is going to college at Texas Tech and rented a property that is managed by this company. I wish I could get ahold of the property owner. It wasn’t cleaned, there was trash all over the back yard when they moved in. The ceiling and roof is leaking on his bed and we can’t get a response except their answer service. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. We own rental properties and I’d fire this company in a New York minute if they were managing our properties. Run!!

We moved in 9 days ago. This house obviously had zero make ready done. Aside from the fact I had to deep clean everything while moving in… we still do not have working toilets. One will work if you manually fill the tank EVERY time. So 4 of us sharing one toilet. Doing that each time. Been reported for a week. Nothing. Now the AC is out. They are not treating it as the qualified emergency it is. Still no word. Nothing. And we have a medically compromised child in the house who can’t overheat or it threatens his health. My wife and I have been renting from Minnix for two years and just signed to stay two more. The duplexes are nice and rent is decent, HOWEVER, they take awful care of the property. The lawn maintenance trims grass here and there, doesn’t go into the backyard, and maintenance requests are ignored or take a call from us to finally get follow up. Can’t get any contact to help me. My AC went out yesterday while I was at work. I called the main office, which was closed, and was sent to the maintenance line. Kaylee asked a few questions and said she would send someone here. An hour goes by, I call again. She said she doesn’t know the maintenance man’s schedule and wasn’t sure what time he could be here. We moved from Arizona to Texas and I figured I would give this company the benefit of the doubt even though they had bad reviews. Bad decision on my part.. the house wasn’t even ready we had to stay in a hotel for a week. They said they would do the yards which they never did. I’d advise you to use another property management company. They still haven’t even fixed everything and there’s only heat in one room. Paid my deposit and lease for the first month was given a code to retrieve the key from a lock box got to the apartment in Odessa Tx and the door was open the code did not work could not get a key the apartment was so dirty and d Disgusting on the patio there were visible termites and a wall that was so soft from the damage you could actually put a finger through it tried calling managers and could not get through called maintenance line and they could do nothing to get a key to secure this apt I have a year lease for that i... read more

Hey Minnix- “we super care about our properties!” Here is the house and yard, and the last is the yard of the front house they manage too! And Laura the “portfolio manager” is super rude and they do not communicate at all!
