Don't even think about trying to bring a guest unless you want to pay 23 bucks for a day pass or they'll want to sign up the guest permanently on your membership. Bizarre how they turn members away for wanting to bring a guest. Lost my business immediately after a solid 10 years.

Worst place! management is absolutely awful. I signed up, they messed up my documents. I had to cancel right away because I had to move states. They make it extremely difficult to cancel and then even harder to get a refund. They give you corporates number and email just to be able to not contact cause it doesn't work. Management always said they were too busy to talk to me on the phone. They said they would call back. never did! This store is run by incompetent managers. DONT SIGN WITH THEM!

Always so busy unless you go right at opening or late at night. Hopefully the new location off lone mountain eases that when it's done in ten years at this rate. The price seems high for how outdated everything is compared to other gyms. Might offer various things (lots of them pointless and few use) but if it's all outdated or not done to a quality level.

After 15 years of loyalty (roughly $18,000 in membership dues paid) I can confidently say Mountainside Fitness has gone downhill. No more yearly buddy passes--so you can't even bring a friend to try the gym anymore. Then they refused to let me buy a day pass for my nephew because I'm not his father. Seriously? Zero flexibility and no common sense. And let's be real--it's overpriced for what you get. There are plenty of other gyms offering the same or better equipment and amenities without all these ridiculous restrictions.... read more

Forget my barcode one time for them to tell me they "can't type names in anymore" when they've told me that before then looked my name up and won't let you in unless you sit there download the app add your barcode and waste all that time because they're to lazy to type in a name .... Counting the days till EOS opens by me

I went to inquire about membership but told I couldn't see the facility as the person in charge of memberships had left for the day. So, they've lost one member at least. The customer is always _____.

So I had arrived at this gym this past Thursday around 6:30pm. I have never workout at this gym before. I was told if you haven't been a member or haven't been to a mountainside fitness within the past year you qualify for a free day pass. Unfortunately I experienced horrible customer service here at the Happy valley location and it was my first time walking in seeking a possible membership for my family and I. Corporate structure is predatory and does everything and its power to make it difficult for people to cancel memberships. Beware of training contracts as if you ask to cancel training they may have you sign a hold document instead and then immediately start charging your card again after the 30 day hold expired. Three months of training charges occurred on my credit card and when I ask for a refund, none was forthcoming.

I would never sign a membership with this gym. I called arrowhead and asked them to stop my membership because I live in Hawaii and the man said I had to write a letter to the corporate office which I did.
