We have been members at this location for over 8 years. Each time we have interacted with the manager, Danielle Jarrett, her attitude, lack of professionalism and inability to effectively respond to each situation is appalling. She is not interested in keeping loyal members and makes her position very clear. With the high annual membership cost PLUS an additional and unnecessary "enhancement fee", it would make sense to have a manager who can listen and solve problems. I am always running around the town and pop in to which ever location is nearest me at the time. I have to say my favorite location is arrowhead on 101 and 75 ave. All the locations have stellar costumer service and clean facilities. In particular there is an employee maybe Lindsey? She's blonde and seems to appear as a manager in the Mkids. Stay far, far away. Not only is it crowded and the equipment frequently broken, but management is horrible. I was threatened with assault by a member and the "Assistant Manager", Bekah, didn't even ask him to leave despite multiple complaints. I left several voicemails with the VP of Operations who never saw fit to get back to me. I could not possibly be any more upset with the entire organization; from the "Assistant Manager" to the VP, there wasn't anyone who even made an effort to make things right. I love that Mountainside Fitness offers massage!! It's so easy to book an appointment. I received a massage from Misty and I was in real bad shape, I had semi tore my bicep and had a lot of strained muscles in my arm preventing me to straighten it. Misty is very knowledgeable of the body and helped me get my range of motion back, she got all the knots out in a relaxing way so I didn't feel too much pain. Always insanely busy. Felt like I had to fight for equipment. Lots of meatheads. Lots of "personal trainer" - client pairs. Would not do a long term membership here.

I have had the pleasure of visiting a number of the mountainside location and although it would be hard to say which I my favorite. The Peoria location is by far one of my favorite locations to go to. The environment by itself sets it apart from a number of competitors. The members are what truly make this location so excellent and for as much traffic as this location sees it is also one of the most well-kept. Definitely the best gym around. Not only are they Friendly but they are also Clean. They continually add new equipment and are updating the facility. They offer amazing classes and their personal trainers are so helpful. Their childcare is the best, with so much to offer, my kids love going. From family memberships to individual ones Mountainside is the only place I'll go!

This location is in desperate need of an update! Old equipment and atmosphere. With such a growing area, this gym is not nearly up to par with the desert ridge, happy valley or arrowhead locations! Sad because so many new homes and families but one of the lowest quality locations in the valley! Please update!
