Avoid this gym! Signed up for a month to month and went in to cancel but apparently the one month they charge in advance doesn't go towards your last month if you don't cancel by the first of the previous month. I was told that it would go into collections if I didn't pay. On a month to month, really? There are other gyms that are better and at more than half the cost of this place. So don't get fooled by the 0 enrollment fees and the "gift card" that they claim gets sent to your junk folder ( never received it) nothing spec... read more
Nice, clean facility but poor customer service. Joined Mountain Fitness this summer. After agreeing to person trainer for programing and 30" trainer session once a week. Trainer did not work out, no show for session. So I can cancelled. Spoke with Will the head trainer who reminded me about 3 month contract. Which I agreed to pay through September to complete 3 month contract. Now being charged for October because I didn't come and sign form and they have automatic renewals. Probably would've had a better experience, but the customer service was not up to par. I had been to Mountainside Fitness another time, but it was a different location and I went on a guest pass. This visit I was deciding whether or not I wanted to sign up for membership since moving closer to this location. I was not told I would be charged for a day pass (since I was there with an existing member) until I was on my way out. Great gym. I have worked out at several of Mountainside's locations and this is probably my favorite. Every staff member that I have dealt with has been pleasant and courteous. The gym and the locker room are clean and well kept. I haven't experienced any problems with overcrowding, but I usually go early in the morning, not sure how it is later in the day.
Staff is extremely rude, place is crowded and dirty and they keep raising their prices. There are plenty of gyms in the area with more to offer, better customer service, and less crowds.
Super awesome! I've been to almost all the mountainsides in az and this one I think is my favorite. Super beautiful and clean, great little layout, really chill on the weekdays from around 1-4. The only thing is the steam room needs to be scrubbed a little more but it's awesome cause the steam is at faster intervals and less time. Definitely my new spot to work Used to be my new favorite spot but they started locking the equipment closets, idk if it's because people are stealing but I wish they'd let u rent out the equipment... read more

I've been a member at mountainside for 3 years now and have been coming to indian bend for 2. I've always had great experiences here except for today. Today I brought my roommate in to try out the gym because she's been looking for a good local gym to go to. The staff was very helpful except for member services SHELIA. I was very disappointed with how she treated my friend the moment we sat down to get a 5 day pass. Was visiting Scottsdale from LA for a bachelor party and wanted to get a workout in. This was the nearest spot to the AirBNB. Figured it'd be equivalent to a 24 Hour Fitness...the only thing that was the same was the price. Everything else was leagues ahead of what I was expecting! Brand new equipment with a CrossFit-style rig and plenty of bumper plates. Drop in fee was only $10! Staff was nice and friendly. Bang for the buck you won't find a better gym!

I've been a member at this location for about four months but didn't really feel the need to review this place until today when I did my first personal training session. Awesome is all I can say. I spent about 50 mins with Will who is the new training manager. Nothing we did was something I'd ever done before and when you been hitting gyms for 35 years like I have, that's a big statement.
