The gym offers a 30 day money back guarantee but they definitely make you work to get your money back. I contacted the manager to get my refund and didn't expect there to be any issues as I was within the 30 day period. After a week, I called back because I still had not received my refund and was told by the manager that she'd check on that again and make sure it went through. I never got the refund so I eventually had to contact my credit card to get it. So much time wasted for nothing.

I LOVE this gym! Convenient location, updated equipment, friendly staff and wonderful child care! Its always super clean too! I feel welcomed every time I step into mountainside. Hannah, Lorenzo, Adam, Zack, Michael, Tim, Kia, Aubrey, Jen and Gloria are just a few of my fave people here. I recommend this gym to everyone. I have a member of Mountainside for years and have works out at several locations. Clean club, friendly staff and great equipment. I highly recommend this place.

I would have given MS a much better rating but this has to be one of the dirtiest gyms I've ever been in. I have been a member at this location for about a year. I go about 6 days a week and in that time I have never seen anyone do any cleaning. This is includes men's locker room, steam room, sauna, yoga room and equipment room. In fact, one of the members found a dead scorpion on the floor in the men's locker room and 10 months later it was still there. There is a gross layer of goo on the ceiling of the steam room. I absolutely love this gym. This is one of my favorite locations as well. Big inside, tons of new equipment and great design company wide. Trx area, sauna, steam room, huge locker rooms, complimentary classes with membership, SQUAT RACKS!!!, rubber weights in power lifting area, etc. Best gym in the valley by far.

When I signed up, I talked to them about the cancellation policy and how I do not want to join a gym that is impossible to quit, as I may move. After I moved and did not use it, I canceled, in writing, to the corporate office saying as of today. They continued to charge my card and keep telling me I have to come in. I have told them I do not live near them They talk about how friendly they are and easy going. DO NOT JOIN, THEY WILL NOT STOP TAKING YOUR MONEY
I've been a member at Mountainside Fitness for six years - since about the time it opened the facility closest to my home. This review is specific to the Scottsdale Pavilions location because that's the location I exclusively use. I've noticed some little things like repairs not being completed as quickly as they used to be, i.e., there's a bulb out over the sinks in the women's locker room that's been out for months; a soap dispenser in that same location fell off the wall a few weeks ago and is still missing, etc. One of t... read more

To address your concerns, we do offer over 90 classes total at our Pavilions location which includes yoga, cycle and our newest edition, Peak Performance, which is offered M/W/F at 830A and T/TH at 900A (I highly recommend this one if you have not tried it already). This gym is always clean. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. My wife cancelled her account and it was a really easy process, unlike other gyms that I've dealt with in the past where they make it so difficult for you to cancel. Never had a bad experience and I enjoy using this facility a lot.

Workout here 4-5 times a week. Friendly staff. Gym kept clean. Only rarely is a piece of equipment in need of service. Attend spin class on occasion. Offer a variety of styles and difficulty level. Reasonably priced memberships.
