The gym itself not great but OK. The company refuses to offer cancellations via email or on their website. This is required by House Bill 2697 of Arizona state law. I also pre-paid for training and the trainer was impossible to communicate with. He kept texting me with the wrong name and was confused from day one. They won't refund the trainer money and I had to send a certified letter to cancel which has not happened yet. It is a slimy way to do business IMO. I'm normally very comfortable when going to this mountainside fitness. This location has been my favorite for years. However, they recently got a new employee who is a short blonde girl whose name is Sara. She on multiple occasions has been rude to not only to me, but friends I have that go there as well. Decided to reactivate my account today and had a great experience. Friendly personnel and a seamless activation process that took no more than 10 minutes. I personally love this location because of the friendly staff and how everything is super clean!

No masks nor do they clean the machines. The staff and patrons look down upon those that wear masks and a staff member scoffed at me for wearing one - as if there wasn't a pandemic going on? Needless to say, my one month membership will stay that way. Also the equipment is very dated and is always broken.

I felt the need to jump on here and write a great review for our home gym here located in the Scottsdale Pavilions. Through the years I have called many gyms home. Mountainside Fitness, specifically this location, jumps to the top of the list. Great staff. Always clean. Wonderful people all around at this location. I can't say enough good things. The kids care is awesome and our littles especially love their time there.

I had to create an account on Yelp just to leave this review. I've gone to this gym before, and canceled my membership awhile ago, and I was looking to rejoin. The first time I came in to join years ago, the sales staff were pushy and it felt scripted. It was a less than ideal experience because I felt like just a number. Today, I came in and spoke to Quentin. And it was one of the best interactions I've had with someone. He was not overly pushy, took the time to talk to me and learn about why I was looking to rejoin. Why do the women not flush the toilets here? Do you not do this at home? Afraid to wash your hands after? Also every time I want to use the sauna there's an old woman laying down naked. Apparently she has sole ownership of said sauna.
