Two words. Spin class. I'm in the Arcadia area, but I choose this location for their group fitness class schedule and facility. The spin room is large, plenty of bikes, kept dark during class, and the fun lighting is fabulous. There are 3 types of spin class. Studio, Sport, and DJ. DJ cycle is the best! A DJ is spinning while the instructor is guiding you through hills, sprints, and weighted arms workouts! Bring a towel (which the gym provides for you ), because you will leave drenched in sweat. I really love this location. There are two other locations that are closer to me than this one but I enjoy coming here because of the set up. I specifically prefer this location because of the cycle instructors though. They really push you to have a great workout. During the class there will be an added challenge of doing taps (basically pushups on the bike), mini dumbells or resistance bands. I leave those classes sweating like crazy! I would have to say my two favorite instructors are Allie and Amanda. I like their energy.... read more

This is a great gym. I had some issues in the past but they addressed them, and overall there are so many great things and services, and great employees, that it overrides any small negatives

OK for a 55 year old, I have been to 5 High Fitness classes and absolutely love them. Kirsten, Kim and Laura are great motivators to lead the class! I have to modify the class a little but I finish it. They should have more of them (weekend) plus the locations around the Pavilion need more also. Plus you need to be able to search on your website the class and see the locations that have that class on that day! By far the absolute best gym I have ever been to in my whole life. Rhiannon is the friendliest, nicest, most professional employee I have ever met at any mountainside gym. Mountainside needs more like her.

I love being a member of mountainside! Wonderful equipment and the staff is outstanding! Mike, Logan, Mark, Rhiannon, Tyra, and everyone I've encountered there has been consistently friendly and helpful. The management must be using some kind of wizardry to have assembled such an amazing team. Thank you so much for all you do!

This gym is my 2nd home, there isn't a gym that I feel more welcome at. The employees are great and always have a smile on their face, and will go above and beyond for their members. There isn't another gym that I'd ever prefer to workout at. The towels are always stocked and assistance from the employees is always quick and effective. They really know how to make a gym function to its peak performance. I will continue to go here for many years to come.

I have been a member for a few months now and I wouldn't go to any other gym in the area. Mountainside, specially this location, is such a great place to workout, whether you're taking a class, using the cardio equipment or the weight floor, you always get the most up to date machines and a fantastic overall gym experience. I particularly enjoy the spin classes because the instructors really take the time to get to know you and make it as fun as possible while still pushing you to work hard.
