This is the best MSF I've been to - it's huge! Gina's Sunday Zumba class is hands down the BEST I've ever been to! (That's why it's always packed--people drive over 30 min to come for her class and it's totally worth it!) Within the first 20 minutes, you sweat and do more than an hour at some other classes! Gina gives you a high-intensity, FUN, full-body workout with a kick-ass playlist!! Thank you, Gina!

I come here every Tuesday for spin class with Kallie B. This location is normally one of the friendliest mountainside locations. For some reason the spin classes seem to have an issue with signing people up for the class and that happened today. My advice for all locations is to just be consistent in your policies. I've seen it happen at more than one where people try to sign others up early. That just doesn't sit well for the others who sign in for the class. It's just something to think about. I love this gym! The staff is super sweet and always says hi! I've been a member at multiple mountainsides and they always know what I need. Even in the cafe- they offer me prework out and I can charge it to my account. Recently they updated and I love the new machines. I love the mountainside community and always look to coming back UPDATE: this gym is still incredible a year later. I'll never get a membership anywhere else.
Out of all the mountainside fitness locations, this is by far my favorite. My kids have grown up in their childcare, and I love that most of the workers are either moms or have worked there for awhile. The childcare knows my kids by name, and everyone is so friendly, always helpful plus they are so many great perks that come with the membership. I'm happy to belong to such a great gym!

Great gym. Child center which I've used and my daughter likes to visit, ample machine, steam room, sauna, plenty of towels. I also take advantage of personal training. Only slight issue is often finding dirty towels and hand towels in the shower area on the floor and empty soap dispensers in showers. I usually tell them at front desk and they tell me they will fill them.

Purposely left another gym to come to this particular location because they offered childcare at a younger age. I came in Friday afternoon with my 12 week old. The two employees working didn't even acknowledge us or take the sticker that is printed off with the child information. I put the baby in the infant area - she was asleep strapped in her car seat stroller. Two words. Spin class. I'm in the Arcadia area, but I choose this location for their group fitness class schedule and facility. The spin room is large, plenty of bikes, kept dark during class, and the fun lighting is fabulous. There are 3 types of spin class. Studio, Sport, and DJ. DJ cycle is the best! A DJ is spinning while the instructor is guiding you through hills, sprints, and weighted arms workouts! Bring a towel (which the gym provides for you ), because you will leave drenched in sweat. I really love this location. There are two other locations that are closer to me than this one but I enjoy coming here because of the set up. I specifically prefer this location because of the cycle instructors though. They really push you to have a great workout. During the class there will be an added challenge of doing taps (basically pushups on the bike), mini dumbells or resistance bands. I leave those classes sweating like crazy! I would have to say my two favorite instructors are Allie and Amanda. I like their energy.... read more
