Probably would've had a better experience, but the customer service was not up to par. I had been to Mountainside Fitness another time, but it was a different location and I went on a guest pass. This visit I was deciding whether or not I wanted to sign up for membership since moving closer to this location. I was not told I would be charged for a day pass (since I was there with an existing member) until I was on my way out. Great gym. I have worked out at several of Mountainside's locations and this is probably my favorite. Every staff member that I have dealt with has been pleasant and courteous. The gym and the locker room are clean and well kept. I haven't experienced any problems with overcrowding, but I usually go early in the morning, not sure how it is later in the day.
Staff is extremely rude, place is crowded and dirty and they keep raising their prices. There are plenty of gyms in the area with more to offer, better customer service, and less crowds.
Super awesome! I've been to almost all the mountainsides in az and this one I think is my favorite. Super beautiful and clean, great little layout, really chill on the weekdays from around 1-4. The only thing is the steam room needs to be scrubbed a little more but it's awesome cause the steam is at faster intervals and less time. Definitely my new spot to work Used to be my new favorite spot but they started locking the equipment closets, idk if it's because people are stealing but I wish they'd let u rent out the equipment... read more

I've been a member at mountainside for 3 years now and have been coming to indian bend for 2. I've always had great experiences here except for today. Today I brought my roommate in to try out the gym because she's been looking for a good local gym to go to. The staff was very helpful except for member services SHELIA. I was very disappointed with how she treated my friend the moment we sat down to get a 5 day pass. On May 30th, 2018, my day off, I entered the gym and was informed by the manager Michele Nuanez that an employee accused me of actively performing personal training in Mountainside. I have been there since late December, and am far too busy with my full time tech job, 5 rental properties, my Masters in Digital Forensics, and my son, to train anyone against the policies of the gym. Was visiting Scottsdale from LA for a bachelor party and wanted to get a workout in. This was the nearest spot to the AirBNB. Figured it'd be equivalent to a 24 Hour Fitness...the only thing that was the same was the price. Everything else was leagues ahead of what I was expecting! Brand new equipment with a CrossFit-style rig and plenty of bumper plates. Drop in fee was only $10! Staff was nice and friendly. Bang for the buck you won't find a better gym!

I've been a member at this location for about four months but didn't really feel the need to review this place until today when I did my first personal training session. Awesome is all I can say. I spent about 50 mins with Will who is the new training manager. Nothing we did was something I'd ever done before and when you been hitting gyms for 35 years like I have, that's a big statement. Do NOT sign auto-renew with these characters . Red flag #1 Matt signing me in and offering auto-renewal on membership vs personal trainer. I assumed membership as I asked for 12 training sessions. I signed up for 3 months PERIOD. "Thats not what your contract says" so for all seeking a gym, read it all and do NOT let them auto renewal. All representatives are trained to inform buyers of this policy. In addition, all customers receive a copy of their agreement for their records.
