I love this gym. They have a lot of great equipment and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly suggest the manager Anne's protein shakes either before, or after your workout. She definitely makes the best shakes! Thanks Mountainside.

I'm visiting my 60+ year old parents for a month in Arizona, and thought I'd join a reasonably priced gym nearby in order to continue training for powerlifting competitions. I was slightly annoyed by the "No Chalk" rule, and the lack of barbells with center knurling in the tiny power rack section, but I can handle it for a few weeks. This is probably the only gym I'll ever own a membership at in AZ. Great atmosphere, super nice staff and excellent equipment. They are even doing the most they can to stay open during this pandemic, which I view the gym as essential.

I had a similar experience to Kimberly J. Both of my parents were diagnosed with COVID and I contacted the gym to try to cancel my membership as I was not in the state due to needing to care for my parents who were in their late 70s. I called and I emailed them, I even sent them a copy of my dad's positive covid test. I called again last week before my December payment was due, and was told I had to send a certified letter. Absolutely best experience ever! I lost my earbud and asked the front desk if they picked it up in the lost and found. Regrettably they said that they didn't. But one person decided to go above and beyond the call of duty! Marx helped me retrace my steps and we found it! Thank you Marx and thank you mountainside!

I signed up for a one month pass before COVID caused shutdowns. Then I asked them to cancel my account during COVID because I would not be coming back once the gyms opened up, and I was informed I had to do it in person. Then a few weeks after the gym opened back up I was hit with a $70 yearly member fee. When I called to say I had tried to cancel and hadn't been going they said there was nothing they could do, and i had to go into the gym to cancel, or send a letter to corporate to avoid any further charges. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. They have some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Zenas the General Manager refused to help when there was a simple solution to the problem. Shocking they are going to lose a long term member over $35.

Money matters the most!! I spoke to an employees in March and informed them I had to freeze my account indefinitely due to being high risk with covid-19. The employee obtain approval from management and said it would be frozen. I just received follow up from a representative that we must pay our September balance. I explained our situation and previous discussion. The service rep was insensitive, and said they sent out a text message informing all members that accounts would begin billing.
