This fitness center has so many negatives to it. 1. the members slam and drop the weights resulting in broken equipment. The impact from the weights dropping shakes the equipment that other people are on in regards to the Universal machines, and it vibrates the ground. It also hurts the hearing of other people that are working out in the gym. This is a sad thing because the personal trainers and management do not walk around the floor to check those behaviors. I called three separate times to cancel my membership, and each time they insisted I come in person. In 2025, we have tools like DocuSign--canceling shouldn't be this difficult. The whole operation feels like a mafia-run business, and I wouldn't recommend this gym at all. They even insisted I pay for a membership that I haven't used in three months. Avoid this place at all costs.
I absolutely love the childcare they provide at Mountainside! The staff is so nice and they treat all the kids like their own. I love that this gym gives families the option to bring their kids with them!
Mountainside is the best! I mostly do Cardio and they have a lot of stair machines, elliptical, and treadmills so there is always space open. Big, bright and clean, love it especially when it starts getting too hot outside!
Great service . Hunter was so nice. The gym is nice and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
make sure you don't lift anything heavy or make noise or work out or ask for a drink from the staff or call em out on their lack of communication and service or "triggered" or whatever they use to say in any way shape or form. Idk what to even say about these people, just do cardio cuz they are very scared and very jumpy and they'll kick you out for farting, but what do you expect from Scottsdale.
Clean facilities and locker rooms! We love the staff in the children care- Tawny is especially amazing. We love our local Mountainside!
Tawny, the childcare manager, is the absolute best with our daughter! Our daughter loves her and I get a much needed mom break!
I've tried many other gyms, but NONE compare to THIS ONE! It's roomy, clean, neat, and no gymtimadation. Just people who are here to work out and live their bodies!
