After years of struggle, trying to get myself out of debt and living paycheck to paycheck, these people stepped up and helped me. They handled everything, and I am now debt free. Two years, with help of National Debt, and I am now free. I can't talk highly enough, please, if you are over your head in debt, CALL THEM. You'll be surprised at how quickly they step in, and you'll love the feeling of not owning anyone.

Business response:

They lie and tell you they need to do a soft pull to pull your credit file, it ends up being for a personal loan, and its actually a hard pull. They also say they will contact all your creditors to negotiate your debt, but give you exactly what you will be paying within 5 minutes of talking to them, so how do you know this is the exact number? Do not trust or believe what they tell you, its all lies.

Business response:

found this company listed on a *** website stating that they are approved to assist with financial legal issues but when i reached out they said their only option they offer for any debt is putting in an application to a partner company on my behalf for a credit consolidation loan that i did not qualify for because of the exact debt i needed serviced. My problem with this is not that i got denied but that they are advertising on a ********************* website as a budget and debt counseling service but are in reality a refe... read more

I have been paying over two years to national debt relief. They have settled two out of three creditors. I had no problems until this year! I called in February 2026 to pay off program. I was giving a total and I paid. Then they said I owed third creditor. They settled for $812 and told me if paid $125 to add to what was in my account I would be done. The fee they have was included in the $812 which I was I told today I owe another $312.10 because of more fees. This has put me in financial difficulties. When you do chat and ... read more

This company has been helping me with my debts, which I know is on me. However, they failed to ever reach out to one creditor as they weren't "ready to make a deal" with them. When the creditor sold the debt the new owner sent me a letter about filing court papers if the debt wasn't paid. When I contacted National debt relief about this issue I was told "not to worry about it. These companies do this all the time" The document wasn't filed on my account and they still failed to reach out this creditor.Several months later I ... read more

They specialize in debt settlement, not debt consolidation or nonprofit credit counseling.Debt settlement usually works by having you stop paying creditors while you build up savings for negotiated settlements. That process can seriously hurt your credit, increase collection calls, and sometimes lead to lawsuits from creditors before settlements happen.Fees are typically substantial often around 1525% of enrolled debt. Again your credit gets trashed.

Business response:

Dear Ms. ********************* you for taking the time so share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your experience, but assure you that we do not advertise as being anything besides a debt settlement company. A member of our client success team will be reaching out as soon as possible to speak with you further about your concerns.Sincerely,National Debt Relief

I am very disappointed with my experience with National Debt Relief. While they were able to settle some accounts, they were ultimately unable to negotiate two of my credit card debts after years of waiting, fees, and damage to my credit. What frustrated me the most was the lack of communication, follow-up, and transparency throughout the process. I repeatedly asked for updates and clearer information regarding my accounts, but I often felt that I was given vague responses. When I finally asked why it had taken so long to tel... read more
