I replaced the developer installed AO Smith (a.ka. Takagi) with the Navien. the internal reservoir on the Navien takes the lag time off very considerably. the house was not roughed-in with a recirculation system, nor was the developer installed unit came with a built-in recirculation feature which resulted in a considerable amount of waste before hot water can come out (at least a waste of 3 to 4 gallons). the built-in recirculation system on this Navien, plus the intelligent system feature that learns when to start heating ... read more

NPE-240A2. Amazing water heater. Already lowered our natural gas bill in 1/2. And provides all the hot water that we need. It has intelligent recirculating which only keeps hot water in the pipes when it knows we’ll need it based on our usage patterns. It takes up no space compared to our prior Bradford 75 Gallon. Overall couldn’t be happier with our decision to go Navien. Excellent product!
We love our Navien tankless hot water tank.
Just replaced our 13 years old unit with a brand new one. Noticed lots of improvements over the previous with the same BTU rating. Much quieter, hot water arrives at the faucet quicker. Water temperature much more consistent. Very happy with it. Pic of old & new unit attach for comparison.
