RecommendedAfter having installed many tankless brands , I finally installed one for myself. I decided to go with Navien because of all the complaints with cold water sandwiches with other brands. I installed the NPE-180A2 model and you would never it was a tankless because there is absolutely no cold water sandwich with that buffer tank inside.

The Navien 240A is one of the best things I’ve been my money on in recent time! The water heater is extremely quiet, and has some great features such as the internal recirculating pump which means hot water is at the faucet as soon as you turn it on. Things to improve: The NaviLink instructions are poorly written. When it was installed the instructions were unclear to what port to plug into on the NaviLink router.
