I have had an overall interesting experience with Newman International Academy. The best parts of my time here was the sports, and people here. Also, some educators have really helped me, but some have degraded me. The worst parts were the fact that I have never had an ongoing coach for any sports that I have done. My personal experience at Newman International Academy had been pretty good. Once in a while things can get a little unorganized, but overall the staff is really good and teaching is great.

The teachers are either a hit or a miss. They have some really good teachers that actually do their utmost best to help students. Then you have some teachers who are just watching a classroom. They have a decent punishment system.

I've been attending Newman for 10 years and it's been a blessing. It is a small school so all the students know each other. The teachers really care about the students and their well being. The coaches love all their athletes and would help push their athletes to the next level.

This school has struggled with communication for YEARS, despite being so small in comparison to public schools. On the other hand, a lessened student body is great for many students because there is a more tight-knit community.

My experience here was unique and I loved going here. It is a free school with private school principles. This school has helped me get ready for college with teachers that support me.

Newman was overall a good school but just like every other school, they had plenty of flaws. I loved that there were teachers that really took time out of their day to help you out. I disliked that the overall staff focused on everything else but main problems in the school, never let students express themselves and they were very stereotypical. Plenty of the teachers were also racist and homophobic.

I have been at Newman for only a few months. I was immediately welcomed with open arms. I have gotten so close to many of the students in my short time. The teachers are very easy to work with, but give a little more work than I was used to. I enjoy Newman the most because of the students. They make me enjoy every class that I am in.
