It's a relief to know that there is always a veterinarian available in case of an emergency, 24 hours a day. They treated our cat Angus well and it was obvious that they genuinely cared for his health. He has had no problems since his recent visit.

Excellent experience here! My dog had been puking for 2 days straight, couldn’t keep anything down. Luckily they didn’t find anything wrong with my baby after X-rays and bloodwork. They sent us home with some probiotics and anti nausea meds and he seems to be on the mend. We were lucky the place was empty when we got there so got right in. But it would have been worth the wait (if needed). Really liked the vet as well! Everyone seemed very professional.

Each time we've been there our pet/s have received excellent care. The staff is very polite and we are welcomed with great kindness.

I took my 7 year old boxer due to him not eating or drinking for a couple of days and having a strange cough. He's never been boarded and hasn't been around any dogs that could potentially have kennel cough. I called my Vet, but couldn't get in quickly. They referred us to NIVES Hospital. They were excellent with my boy. They did blood tests and xrays to make sure there wasn't an obstruction. As it turned out, he had developed pneumonia. I was referred to NIVES by my vet. My 14 year old Dog looked near the end. Dr. Lefors listened to my concerns and concluded my dog likely had a very different issue than what I’d thought. With emergency fluids and a little medicine and a LOT of TLC my old dog is still here and with good quality of life. She saved my dog! And she also helped me determine the most logical tests to run on a very old dog.

They took such great care of our boy, Django. He wouldn’t still be here today if it wasn’t for the fantastic team at NIVES. Everyone I interacted with there was very caring and friendly. They kept us posted every step of the way and answered any questions we had. Thank you, NIVES, for all you do 🐾

We had a consult with internal medicine this week. They were absolutely amazing. I’ve lived all over the country and have used multiple vets due to having a dog with lots of medical issues. This is the first vet I didn’t feel rushed with. They spent over 2 hours with us and They made sure all my questions were answered. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone

I have had the unfortunate experiences for both my fur babies to have to use the services from Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital. They were wonderful and provided excellent care for my babies. My first experience with them was last year when my oldest baby got a poisoned rabbit and ate it. He got very sick and we almost lost him. He had a four day stay with them. They were great with him and always kept me informed with how he was doing.
