I was referred to NIVES by my vet. My 14 year old Dog looked near the end. Dr. Lefors listened to my concerns and concluded my dog likely had a very different issue than what I’d thought. With emergency fluids and a little medicine and a LOT of TLC my old dog is still here and with good quality of life. She saved my dog! And she also helped me determine the most logical tests to run on a very old dog.

They took such great care of our boy, Django. He wouldn’t still be here today if it wasn’t for the fantastic team at NIVES. Everyone I interacted with there was very caring and friendly. They kept us posted every step of the way and answered any questions we had. Thank you, NIVES, for all you do 🐾

We had a consult with internal medicine this week. They were absolutely amazing. I’ve lived all over the country and have used multiple vets due to having a dog with lots of medical issues. This is the first vet I didn’t feel rushed with. They spent over 2 hours with us and They made sure all my questions were answered. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone

I have had the unfortunate experiences for both my fur babies to have to use the services from Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital. They were wonderful and provided excellent care for my babies. My first experience with them was last year when my oldest baby got a poisoned rabbit and ate it. He got very sick and we almost lost him. He had a four day stay with them. They were great with him and always kept me informed with how he was doing. My Bouvier presented with unusual symptoms. My vet referred me to NIVES. Dr Totten was so friendly, professional, knowledgeable. We are trying things to hopefully improve my dog’s quality of life but although expensive, I’d recommend them when you need extra help

Dr. Brad Coolman and his entire staff are simply AMAZING!! Our 4 year old GSD Bella had a torn CCL and needed knee surgery. Bella had her TPLO surgery on February 10, 2022 and I cannot thank the staff enough for their kind and amazing service they provided us. We drove from Chesterton Indiana to get a surgery consult and while it took a month to get a consult date they automatically reserve a surgery spot for the next day in case you decide to move forward with the surgery so we were able to leave Bella there that afternoon ... read more
