RecommendedI had to take my cat there for a possible urinary block, they got him in right away and quickly assessed his condition. After reaching a diagnosis, the doctor who seen him was quick to call with the results and discharge instructions. I would definitely recommend NIVES to my family and friends who have animals in need of emergency care. Your staff is beyond fantastic in not only how they care for their patients but also the families.
We live an hour and a half away from NIVES, but the reviews were great so we took our dog there late one night. We found out he unfortunately had parvo. The nurses and drs were all so nice and so honest with us! They has amazing care for our dog! They weren’t upset with me for calling multiple times a day to check on him: They have been so helpful with his home aftercare as well and don’t mind answering questions! We highly recommend NIVES. They provided excellent care to our beloved pet. Dr. Mark Schlatter was wonderful with our boy. He was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Even though we had to say good bye to our boy due to an extended illness, we felt blessed that he received excellent care at NIVES as the staff really understood his needs. Don’t hesitate to take your pet to this location as this is the real deal.

We were on a road trip with our kitties and one got overly stressed, ate the other cats' food and was quite ill. As we were away from home, we couldn't find a local vet to help so in what I thought was a desperate move, we took Jack to IN Vet Emergency and they were great with him! He stayed overnight, they called and let me know he was eating and flirting with all the nurses. He got fixed up well enough to get us home and to our local vet. I had to say goodbye to my Pudgy boy Thursday. I believe it was Dr. Gephard who was just an angel about it all. She did so much more than she had to. She was also so patient and gentle about everything. You're a beautiful soul and I thank you and everyone else so much for helping us. I can't recommend this place enough.
I just want to thank you for the compassion, patience, care and sympathy you showed me and my kitty who passed away Monday. The situation was traumatic and a shock and you all were amazing to me while I was having a meltdown. working in healthcare I wish our human patients were treated half as good as you guys treat the animals and their human parents.
