RecommendedThey are always busy with 20 million things going on… but never have we felt like a number with the staff. They have always been kind, compassionate and willing to explain things to us in very stressful situations. Is it pricey? Yes but it’s an emergency vet… but the care received is gold. Thank you NIVES staff you have saved our kitty Buddha multiple times.
RecommendedThis was our first visit. I noticed my dog Brody was squinting one eye and it was kinda watery. Our vet couldn’t get him in and couldn’t guarantee they could get him in the next day and we were supposed to head out of town the next day. So after a quick call to NIVES we drove for an hour to have him looked at. He had an eye ulcer and they gave him a salve and recommended follow up with his primary vet. RecommendedWe thought our girl was on the way out. We were heartbroken. We saw two doctors who explained what our girl was facing as she experienced seizures for the first time in her 8 year life. They said in most cases seizures were treatable and could be managed to extend her life. We left her there for 24 hours as they began her treatment. They made themselves available to us for updates and explanations of what was going on. She is home with us now and doing well. No seizure for over 48 hours. RecommendedWe are so grateful for NIVES! They gave the best care to our dog, Haley. Because of their care and expertise, we were able to bring her home after a 2 night stay with them. The doctors and nurses were kind and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend NIVES for your pets Emergency needs.
