We got the unfortunate diagnosis of soft cell sarcoma for our 5 year old boxer Harley in October. We went from biopsy to diagnosis to amputation in less than 2 weeks. Dr. Essig and the staff made the very overwhelming and emotional process manageable by reassuring us, educating us and keeping us informed every step of the way. Brought my pup in after her normal vet sent her home without any real diagnosis. The staff was warm and friendly and paid attention to the fact that my dog suffers from a lot of anxiety, even when healthy. They didn't run a bunch of unnecessary tests, but did a thorough exam, treated her for dehydration and gave her some good medicine to clear up her tummy troubles. These guys weren't able to save one of my cats, but they did save his littermate when she went into severe depression and stopped eating. She got her feeding tube out today, and she is happily eating and grooming and playful as she ever was. Thank you guys so much for all your hard work making sure she came through!
