Took my dog to local vet with a very difficult and rare problem. They couldn't figure it out and referred me here. I got news I didn't want to hear but the vet and entire staff was super professional and they know there stuff. It's more $ but really is it? Had I went here first I would of saved $. I'll definitely go here in the future for problems, and local vet for shots/dewormer etc as I'm 1 hr away.
My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel leaped in the air, came down oddly and broke her leg right in front of me! The bone nearly protruding through her skin! Dr. Jason Matthew of NIVES was the first to see her. Both calm and sure Dr. Matthew cared for my little girl and gave me all the valuable information I needed, both pros and cons to make my important decisions for her well being. Our dog Stewey who was puking, lethargic, drooling excessively thinking he got into mushrooms which I seen in his vomit ..I called NIVES last night and told them what was up and they said to bring him in right away..we brought him and they took him to a room right away (this was around 7 or 8 pm) and worked as a team to take care of him. ..okay people. When they are busy, they are very busy so the wait is pretty awful as time goes...I have been there twice on weekends in last few months and both times I was there almost 2 hours....once the vet assessed my cat last nite- I had been there about 25 min...no biggie, but waiting over an hour for a vet tech to give shots is a little agitating; same thing last visit. I give them a 5 though because they are open all hours for emergencies and the staff themselves are great....Dr. Matthew was the best as well.

We brought our Sugar Glider (exotic pet), Big Momma in very sick. She passed away unfortunately, but her end of life care was the best they could provide..even though no exotic vet was onsite. Thank you to your staff for their heartfelt condolences and professional demeanor.
