Because this gym is a cost commitment, unlike the cheap gyms like EOS and the like, we made a pack to come regularly or cancel the membership. 2 years later, we have built our habit going about 6 days a week, and this is mostly due to how nice the gym is. Lots of variety offered, except I do wish they would add pickleball. Tennis, squash, racketball, swimming, Pilates, yoga, and many creative classes. Great member events! Helpful and friendly staff. For yoga that is not at a specialized yoga studio, it's very good. They also... read more

Ed, What a beautiful review. Thank you so much for your kind words. We couldn't be any happier that you have decided to make us a part of your daily life. We always strive for this to be your second home. Can't wait to see you around the cub sometime soon!

The place doesn't want new members - Rude on the phone, sales team is more like an "interrogation team" . You call them up about trying the place out for a 1 day trial - and the response you get is " what's your reasoning for coming in". A total joke - over inflated ego and they don't care about customer service, nor do they want new members. They are too cool here. Plenty of options to choose from in Chandler for 1/10th the cost. Leave it out. If they are that pathetic when they are attempting to get new clients, I can only... read more

Alright, so we are Lifetime Diamond Club transplants from the East coast. So, here are the pros and cons comparing to clubs that charge a comparable amount (we have been to many clubs in the USA): Pros: 1. Clean, gorgeous facility 2. Spa, nice staff 3. Pilates studio (though costs extra, like most places) 4. Tennis 5. Basketball 6. Racquetball/Squash 7. Steam and Sauna, showers 8. Barre classes 9. Spin 10. Chiropractor is very nice and good at what he does 11. Member nights are a fun addition Cons (which were very important ... read more

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We do know our app has some limitations that we are currently working on with our software partner. We look forward to releasing a new app that is more user friendly. As far as our yoga classes go, this is the first time we have received feedback about the acoustics. We will certainly let our staff know and pop into a few classes to check the instructors audibility. Our Pilates instructors should be checking for any modifications members may need due to injuries or limi... read more

For those perhaps inquiring, I'll save you some time. Ocotillo Village Health Club does not have Pickleball courts nor do they have plans on having any Pickleball courts in the future. This is a shame as I know so many people that have switched from Tennis to Pickleball over the years. The Gilbert courts on any given weekday have btwn 80 and 110 Pickleball players. The new Ocotillo Picklbeball courts are full Monday thru Friday. The Village would benefit tremendously if they opened up Pickleball as an option for their custom... read more

Business response:

Jared, Thank you for your feedback. We would love to open pickleball at all of our clubs, but due to the success of our tennis program and lack of available space we are unable to do so. However, our Ocotillo club offers a large variety of group fitness and yoga classes every week with the best instructors in the Valley, a cafe, two pools, a splash pad, seven tennis courts, two group fitness studios, Pilates studio and a hot yoga studio. It is unfortunate to have lost you as a member and would love to see you back in our c... read more

Have been a member for over 6 years...did not appreciate member services during covid period. Was not ready to come back to gym wearing a mask. I work out to improve health...not further risk it. Was told that i "needed a doctors note" to keep my membership on freeze without paying a monthly freeze fee of $50. really?

Business response:

Dean, The Village has been more than fair with not charging members any dues or freeze fees while we navigated through multiple closures of our facilities. We have created a special freeze plan for members who are not ready to return to the club. If you'd like more information on this plan, please contact your membership department.

It's always a beautiful day here. That is, everything is gorgeous all the time at Ocotillo Village in Chandler, AZ. The buildings, the workout rooms, the cafe, the swimming pool, the people, and the tennis courts - ooh la la. It's all so pretty. No...pristine, manicured, perfect. The seven tennis courts are easily the most appealing clean I have witnessed in any part of the Valley in years. And, the tennis staff featuring my besties tennis director Josh Bates, head professional Ryan Sawyer, and international tennis legend Br... read more

Business response:

Thanks for such a wonderful review and kind words. So glad you love the club and our tennis program. See you around the club!

Pricey membership, but worth every penny. The classes are better than some one on one training at other gyms. Equipment is never too crowded, staff is always friendly, and the amenities can't be beat!

Business response:

Tricia, Thank you for your kind review. We are so glad that you are loving your membership here. See you around the club!

It's a lovely facility - at first glance - with adequate/meh staff, and it's incredibly overpriced for what is offered. When you first visit, the place looks amazing: lots of space and light, very clean, with a "luxury" sort of feel, with lemon water, lemon towels for yoga, and free coffee all the time. But as you get accustomed to the place, it's not so perfect after all. The small 2-lane running track is above the basketball courts and open-air to it, and the noise is deafening and irritating. Kudos for having a track! - b... read more

Business response:

Jennifer, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your membership. As you mentioned we do have many members that are using and enjoying our club. I wanted to mention a few things about the design of our club. Our running track was intentionally designed to be above the basketball court with open air for circulation purposes. It does get a bit noisy at times when we have basketball players active on the court. An alternative to the indoor track for runners is our Woodway treadmills. The 4Front was designed to mimic the feel o... read more

I have been a member of this gym for over a year now and it has been great. I wasn't using the gym as much as I should be so I decided to cancel my membership. I figured the easiest most efficient way would be to go in and cancel. So I go in sit with Kevin and cancel he explains it won't cancel immediately it's a 30 day "notice" if you will and I'll have till the end of March if I still want to use that facility I'm able to. So I see another charge on my account for another month and I'm confused why I'm being charged again ... read more

Business response:

Dawn, we are very sorry for the miscommunication. As stated in our cancellation policy we require a 30-day notice of canceling your membership with us. Since the cancellation form was signed on February 28th, you were then charged for the month of March per our membership agreement. You will have the ability to use the club until the end of March and you will not be charged for April.
