Office staff Marilyn was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the process of opening my self-directed IRA futures trading account. That process was easy, thanks to her. Matt is an awesome conveyor of information to his trading clientele, including video and e-mail communications covering topics ranging from trading for beginners, to trading psychology, to money management and beyond. I had gotten to the point where I believed customer service was a thing of the past especially when electronic trading came of age. That was until Rob Mitchell mentioned the company Optimus in one of his YouTube videos. After doing some research I contacted the company and met Matt, in the last 30 years I have never experienced this kind of customer service. The man and his company are genuinely concerned about their customers, I've opened an account with them and will be a lifelong customer.
I am a tough customer. I've traded with a lot of brokers over the 20+ years I have been at this. If I don't think I am getting the support and service I expect, I vote with my feet and move on. Matt and Optimus is one of the hardest working brokers I have encountered. He makes me feel like he truly wants my business and for that and his continued support, I am a happy customer. I hope to continue to grow my trading activities with Optimus Futures.
I couldn't be happier with my decision to trade with Optimus. From the beginning, the website made it easy to explore their massive selection of FCMs/feeds/platforms to find the best combination for my needs. Pricing is transparent and extremely reasonable. But where they really knock it out of the park is in their customer service. When I submitted a support ticket, I heard back from the company's president within minutes. This is a firm that knows how to treat and keep their clients.
I have been with Optimus Futures about 1-1/2 years. The technical support and personal touch that you are given is very impressive. Calls are returned promptly, you are treated with respect, and patience. They listen to you and help you resolve the issues at hand in a timely manner with kind words and encouragement.
Matt's patience and expertise in futures gave me the comfort of opening an account and begin trading. From the first day we spoke he listened carefully to my concerns and guided me to the best platform that fits my needs. His knowledge of the different technological features of the platforms is exceptional. He also understood my needs regarding FCM's and really set me up beautifully. The service in the office is very professional, quick and efficient. I very highly recommend Optimus to all.
Being a new trader, the whole process of getting setup with brokers and technology can seem a bit intimidating. Matt and the staff at Optimus made it seamless by providing stellar customer service and support. Knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to talk to with patience to answer all my questions. After researching many "discount" futures broker for a while, the name Optimus Futures kept surfacing. I read many reviews, watched countless futures trading videos and even asked my colleagues in the futures community about Optimus. They all seemed to agree that Matt Zimberg and Optimus Futures is solid. After Matt's interview with a large and successful Trader/CTA (who's still Optimus' client) whom I've met and have a great respect for, I decided to give Optimus a chance. I am very satisfied.
Matt's Podcasts are are very helpful and informative for a developing new traders like myself! Matt offers a slightly different perspective that is refreshing to hear and has helped me think about the market participants in a different view. Optimus Futures also offers many educational "how to" videos for common trading platforms, which are very helpful in setting up your trading platform.
