I liked The Palazzo, but they asked for a whole lot more money financial information during the touring process than other places I looked at.

Business response:

Thank you for your reply. We don't require any financial information, but will have that discussion upon family request or upon informing the prospect/family that we are an ALTCS approved community. Therefore, one of the benefits of living at The Palazzo is providing comfort that if someone were to run out of private funds to pay to live here, they could get approved by ALTCS and have the ability to stay while being covered by the program.

I was not super impressed by our tour. The facility felt high end, but I did not think it seemed the cleanest. It was very pricey. This tour was during covid though, so it may have been more limited.

Business response:

Thank you for your review and for recognizing that you visited during COVID. We pride ourselves on being a resort-style community with affordable prices and as a result, we are always reviewing our rates vs. those of our nearby competitors. I encourage you to return to our community and revisit our rates as I am sure you will see that you will find no other community with as many amenities, as newly renovated or offering as spacious apartments having rates as reasonable as we do. As far as the cleanliness, when you return, y... read more

They work with our family when our loved one is difficult at times, and they seem to be very patient. Our move-in went very smoothly. Our loved one doesn't care particularly care for the food. But they offer a lot of great activities if you choose to participate. It is very expensive though.

This community is very good. They provide for the basic needs of there residents. Most of the staff are very dedicated and caring to the residents of the community. This is a very good facility for the type and I am happy this is where my friend is. It is very clean.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind words. It is our goal to do our best to make our residents and their family feel welcome and well cared for. We appreciate that you noticed our efforts.

I searched many places in Phoenix area for an assisted living place for my sister. When I found the Palazzo I was amazed at the facility, services they offer and the incredible staff. My sister moved in there and we are all thrilled that The Palazzo is even BETTER than we expected! The apartments are very nice and spacious, all of them have a patio or balcony. The grounds are kept very nicely, so being outside is enjoyable. The staff, particularly [names removed] are so helpful and pleasant. It seems like everyone has gone o... read more

The community is very clean, everything has been A+ perfect, except for the food. Sometimes our loved one says it is really good and other times not so good, which could be because the dining room is closed. Sometimes our loved one has to go down and ask for bigger portions. From our understanding the library, chapel and activities room is open, but with the covid restrictions the activities are very limited.
