We ended up here after a change of plans, and I'm so glad we did -- this was the highlight of our day. The zoo is clean, well-maintained, and the animals all looked well cared for. We saw so many active animals -- tigers, lions, monkeys, a jaguar (absolutely beautiful), and even baby capybaras, which were adorable. My daughter's favorite part was the bird feeding area where the birds land on you -- she had the best time and it was really fun to watch. This zoo is beautiful! All of the animals look happy and were out for viewing. There's several spots for kids to play and the vegetation/landscaping all over the zoo was beautiful!

As a teacher, our family membership to the Palm Beach Zoo has become one of the best investments for spontaneous, stress-free weekends. There's nothing better than waking up, deciding to go, and knowing we'll have a fun day outdoors without a lot of planning. Palm Beach Zoo checked off everything on my list.. 1. Easy to get to with lots of parking 2. Beautiful variety of animals 3. Activities for kids (Splash pad and Carousel) 4. This is a nice little zoo that is great for families with young children. I went with my family the day after Christmas and my 2 year old was able to walk the whole thing. We were able to get through the whole zoo in about 2.5 hours but we did not stop to look at everything. There is a decent variety of animals, without having to take the trek to Zoo Miami. Though there are not elephants, giraffes, rhinos etc like they have in Miami. There are koalas, tigers, jaguars, bears, capibaras, flamingos, lemurs and an albino gator.

Such a cute little zoo! We walked the whole thing in about 2 hours. All the animals were out and we had fun and snacks!

Visited day after Christmas with family and a toddler and found it to be a fun easy experience. There was a nice variety of animals and space to see them up close. Luckily it wasn't busy but I would say the parking looked tight and the animal encounters were all booked up fast and early. The food options were okay better than traditional but the service staff seemed disinterested.
