The best zoo to see tigers, jaguars, koalas and bears up close. Usually at other zoos it's difficult to see them. Not at this zoo! It's small and quiet, we had a nice time here. With a toddler, we finished the zoo in 2.5 hours with a lunch break as well. Order your food from the QR code, it'll make your life easier. The best part was the lorikeet exhibit. Go with the 3 cups for $5 to feed them. We weee so lucky to be the only ones in there so they were fighting over my baby's nectar. One flew on her head and tried to eat h... read more

Business response:

Jennifer, It sounds like you had an incredible time with us! These are some great pictures you captured, even of our local squirrels! These are all tips we would share as well to make the experience at the Zoo seamless. While we don't offer first responder discounts year-round, we do have a special rate in September. However, we do offer a military discount. Thank you for your kind words, especially regarding Sheldon. We'll be sure to share that with him. We hope to see you again soon!

I came for the Zoo Light. You book online and it gave me some options about the event. I chosed the adult night experience which meant no children. They had two other options I think. I liked the experience. When I walked in you hear the holiday music playing. I was greeted by the zoo staff. I presented by phone ticket and they scanned it. The zoo was beautifully illuminated by lights. When you first walk in the first thing you see is a beautiful Christmas tree. It is in the middle of where the fountain is. They hav... read more

Business response:

Judy, Thank you for your review and feedback! Your support means a lot and your words help us improve. It's nice to see you had a good experience overall. Regarding the holiday tree show, we will be sure to pass those comments to our teams. As for the animals and their behavior, not all of them will be visible at night. Instead, Zoo Lights is a great way for family and friends to gather around and enjoy one another's company. Brighton Tendayi, the artist, is talented on so many levels. It's great you had the chance to see h... read more

It's so very people friendly! The employees and volunteers are extremely friendly and sincerely care for the "residents" and visitors. Regardless of how many times I visit the Zoo, I can't wait until my next visit! It's so very serene there.

Business response:

We are delighted to hear our team's care for residents and visitors creates such a serene experience. Your repeated visits mean everything!

Small zoo packed with a great variety of animals ..went on a Monday afternoon and it was very nice weather and hardly anyone there ..staff is so friendly and helpful. The animals here are amazing we missed the sloth due to sleeping but lucked out overall viewing the animals even got to watch a group of flamingo go for a walk with the keepers...quite a treat! It was pricey for a zoo visit (over $60 for 2 people with a senior discount) Parking was easy the day and time we went we were right across from the entrance ...definit... read more

A nice AZA registered zoo with many animals to see. The animals seemed very hot and under stimulated but well cared for. It would be nice to see more toys or activities for the animals.

Very friendly and knowledgable staff who seem to care for the animals which is awesome. The enclosures for the animals seem nice but the tigers and panthers were pacing back and forth A LOT which is apparently a sign of stress or lack of enrichment? Not sure if larger enclosures with more spaces to hide or explore are possible but its worth considering even if its no longer a sure thing that people will see the animal (can add more pictures, videos and trail camera footage (from outside or from the enclosure)) to augment. Or... read more

Business response:

Madison, We want to thank you for joining us during Wild Night Out and helping us save wildlife. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the after-hours experience. We also want to appreciate the feedback and recommendations you’ve shared with us. It shows you care about the animals, too! Regarding your concern about the pacing, the animals that live here receive world-class care. They also receive significant stimulation, nutrition and medical care throughout the day. Pacing can mean one of a thousand things, whether it’s excitemen... read more

I can't believe that I've lived in South Florida for 35 years and never went to the Palm Beach Zoo before today! A family outing with my son, and, grandsons first zoo experience. First, this is a fantastic destination for young children. There is a playground, which my boys were too young for, and a lot of shaded areas that made a hot day in August very bearable (sorry about the pun!). The people, both staff and other guests were very friendly which made the environment even nicer. There's a very good amount of animals ... read more

Business response:

Rob, We appreciate your review and certainly enjoy a good pun like yours! It's incredible to see how everyone in your family had a special moment at the Zoo. Your contributions from tickets to learning more about the animals are huge reasons why we can carry out the conservation work that we do. We hope to welcome back all of those generations again soon!

Palm beach zoo was awesome! They have a lot of cool exhibits. The tigers were probably my favorite. They have three Malayan tigers, two female and one male. The zookeepers were awesome about answering questions from the crowd about the tigers. They have also an Eagle Owl (largest species of owl in the world), giant anteater, black bears, etc. It was a great time and I would definitely go again.

We absolutely love the Palm Beach Zoo and are proud to be members! Our family visits often with our two young sons, and it's always a highlight of our week. The zoo is the perfect size for little legs to explore without feeling overwhelmed, and there's truly something new to enjoy each time we visit. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the animals. We always appreciate how well-kept and clean the zoo is, and how much effort is put into education and conservation. Our son especially lov... read more
