After a trip to the Palm Beach Zoo I think it's safe to say that my daughter's new favorite word is 'MINGO, MINGO' (aka, Flamingo). They have a very impressive selection of birds, monkeys and other small animals. The zoo is a really nice size. Enough to see, but not too big that it's tiring and overwhelming. Admission for an adult will run you $25 bucks and our 1.5 year old was free which was a win. I do wish that this zoo had larger animals. No lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, etc. There is one tiger which felt like th... read more

On the small side for a zoo, but I enjoyed my time here. All of the animal enclosures were clean and the staff was friendly. You could spend several hours wandering the different loops in this zoo. Well worth the admission fee.

I don't love zoos to begin with but it was something to do and be outside and enjoy the weather. It's a very small zoo. Most of the animals were hiding or in their back area away from view which was a bummer. We did pay extra for the "otter experience" which was pretty neat. Group of 4 max go behind the scenes and can learn more about the otters and throw them fish for feeding time. They offer some other experiences like flamingo, tiger, tortoise, etc. If you have young kids, there is a big splash pad area for them in t... read more

It's a much smaller zoo. Not as many animals as I was expecting. I'm not going to under rate because It wasn't the best day for weather so a lot of the animals were seeking shelter. Was still a good experience for my toddler who had his first experience at the zoo.

Drether Park Zoo, as I remember its name, is one of the greatest experiences a person of any age can have. I have been a part of visiting this amazing place for well over 50 years. You and and your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will be enchanted, and delighted, as you see animals from every corner of the world represented. The learning experience had here is lifelong. You're missing out significantly if you don't make a visit to Drether Park, the Palm Beach Zoo at Drether Park.

Lots of shade so you're not dying from the heat. Lots of animals to see. Four sections with different animals in them. There is a joint to grab food. Overpriced but that's anywhere you go. They have an albino alligator and a leopard named Fiona who gets real close. I enjoyed it, the kids enjoyed it. It's a nice place the kids will enjoy.

Something to do for kids or your significant other, it's an all they think they have several different "parts" of the map to look at. It tends to get busy on the weekends but it's sure fun try not to miss out on the live shows they are actually fun. Food is over priced and so are the gift shops but it's the zoo so who cares!!

Very pleasant experience. My grandchildren had a wonderful experience and loved the reptile exhibits. The food was reasonable priced. The weather wasn't too hot but we went in April.

We enjoyed walking around this zoo. We've been here many times in the past. It seems that some of the displays were missing animals and some of the enclosures did not look as fresh as they had in the past. I'm a little confused about the upkeep on the property but maybe this is a post-Covid staffing issue. My daughter loved the carousel and the natural playground. Wish we had brought a swimsuit. The splash pad is awesome! Bonus that you can use Apple Pay at the little food vendors for pretzels, etc.
