Great zoo with lots of character and charm. Would highly recommend adding this stop to your vacation plans.
This was my first visit to the Palm Beach Zoo. First of all I would like to say thanks for the free parking. To many events have paid parking that really doesn't have to be. After playing and entering I picked up a map from the front entrance and started to walk around. As I wandered around I was concerned that I was going to get list but the zoo had a continuous flow that led you from one area into the next area. That's always a big plus when you are venturing into an unknown area for the first time. When you walk around yo... read more
If your looking for a zoo that is not too overwhelming and just the right size for little children this is definitely the place to go. I enjoyed seeing the animals most of which were native to Florida. The zoo has a great flow so you can't get lost and you easily go from one area to another with out wondering to yourself if you've already completed that area. There is limited locations and choices of food to eat. Which is understandable because it's not that big you can eat before or after you get there. I was a little disap... read more
Beautiful Zoo, it feels like were in the tropics, with animals and beautiful fruit trees around us. Wish the animals were a little perkier there was a lot of sleeping. No sign of the Bears we were told that they were eating. We did see a lot of birds, exotic animals and those native to Florida. We had to watch our step there were lots of enormous iguanas along our path. It's a cool & comfortable afternoon & very quiet. The zoo itself was pretty dead, I think with the coronavirus, there were lots of spots to wash our hands.... read more
Have been coming here since I was a kid. The animals are well cared for and awesome to see. My 4 year old son loves visiting as much as I do. His favorite animal is Mardi the White Alligator. We visit as often as we can.
Love this place. Got lost getting there. But that's mine or Siri's failure lol. The have day and yearly passes if you like the serine environment. When you enter there is a kids play fountain straight ahead. Children are always pLaying in it. Pretty much all the animals you can see except rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and polar bears. An exceptional layout. You can spend hrs there. Even host special events there during holidays I love the aviary and the butterfly enclosure. The best time to go is anytime but my preferenc... read more
Very nice small zoo. Lots of amazing animals. Was very easy to find your way around an not get lost. Staff was friendly. Clean zoo. Animals looked healthy and happy. The tiger playing around in the sun was the best part of the day.
Smaller zoo but very intimate setting and well kept. We came here on an outing for the Cub Scouts so we had an education session where the kids learned about and meet a hedgehog, teeny tiny gecko and a turtle. They were able to make a bird feeder too using a pine cone coated in Crisco oil (that was a fun mess to witness) and then rolled in bird food. Our zoo educator was Rachel who was quite lovely. She was young, full of energy and very knowledgeable. You could tell she loved the animals and her job. Thanks Rachel. After ... read more
